Hey LZ,
I see that this project was inspired by your favorite ibm/lg ergo board. But I notice that those kind of ergo boards are not flat

They sort of have a slight angle within the alphas (towards the spacebar from both end of the alpha)

Is it hard to integrate such design to cnc without a huge increase at cost?

Something like this

I would be very curiouds how would it look with a trackpoint (or a small trackball) and 3 vertical buttons added in the middle section. This would make ut fully ergonomical :P
I love to use the trackpoint on my laptop, but the 3 horizontal "mouse" buttons make my hand stay in an awkward position.

Tented this is a must buy for me, even at $600+. Flat and just split, I think VE.A will probably be what I go with. Still might pick it up to try it out. Doubt I'd have trouble selling if I didn't like it.

This does look really cool though.

For me this is the holy grail of keyboards.
 - A single piece split ergo mechanical modeled after my favorite keyboard of all time
 - WITHOUT a large bottom wrist rest so I have an option to use it with my RollerMouse.

I think I am considering selling mine, or trading mine for some cool things (Alps/Topre)
