[custom keycaps] CAD Designs of common keycap designs
« on: Tue, 18 February 2014, 19:51:26 »
I have some friends who are majoring in industrial design and one or two of them have 3D-Printers that can print in ABS plastic and some  other plastic I can't remember... I was thinking of doing some tests with the printer but don't have any CAD schematics/drawings of keycaps (mainly for MX cherry, since that's what I can test easily).

Is ABS plastic any good for this kind of thing ?

If anyone can link me a .cad(preferably for cherry switches) file, please do! I want to ask my friend how much it costs to print this kind of stuff.

thanks,

EDIT: google skills needs sharpening...

is this all there is ? : )
