so i recently took apart my laptop to clean it out cause it was heating up more than usual. i think the excess heat that was building up in the computer made some of the plastic brittle, because when i tried to unlatch the keyboards ribbon cable clip (the little white latch that secures the cable onto the motherboard) it just snapped effortlessly. pics are here
