Either way sounds fun, i'll check it out.

FINALLY beat FTL on Normal with the Zoltan ship the other day. I kept getting lucky finds. I think I must have found 4 droids/weapons within 2 sectors that I sold. By the end I had 2 ion cannons, an artemis launcher and the Halberd beam. Also had full cloaking device which is great for when the last boss blitzes 100 lasers, rockets and droids at you during it's second form

When I have time: I do some League of Legends, Skyrim, and Binding of Issac. Right now playing through Borderlands 2. Waiting for- Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs and Bioshock Infinite.

I never made it that far into the original. It's a game that would be a shame to not play at night, and I simply don't have that much time anymore that late in the day with 2 kids and work in the morning.

I just picked up Race 07 and all the expansions. It's the first racing game i can't hands down beat every time. Graphically it's 5 years being but the game play is good and the tracks aren't your run of the mill every racing game has them. Only thing I wish was better is the damage model.

Currently playing Torchlight 2 and Borderlands 2 (360).

TL2 is quite fun and refreshing after spending countless hours with Diablo 3.

Also a former WoW player on a pretty much dead Archimonde server, but I've been clean for almost a year now )

Played the demo till 4:00 A.M. and dreamt of rockets.

I prolly spent 2 hours trying to get a "honeycomb" design of fuel rockets connected by struts to work, but it kept clipping the launch tower on takeoff and spinning wildly out of control.

Highest height I got was just over 1M meters. (1000 Km) and I never escaped the gravitational pull of the planet you start on, but wow a fun sandbox game for sure.

Is there any goal/point/storyline in the full game. I think the demo is locked on .13 but the full is on .16 or something?

I'm playing dota 2 at the moment. Still a low tier player, but I've become decent with Omni-Knight, Lich, Brewmaster and Meepo. Feel free to add meo n steam - my nick is Gandalf4503. I'm an east coast player, but have no issues playing on west coast as well.

The full version is on .17 I believe, and it has a much larger solar system to explore. I think the demo only has the starting planet and 1 or 2 moons, and the sun. No story or goals yet, however they are adding a career mode in the near future, so I think that will probably contain goals! The full version also has tutorials which are helpful, because the learning curve for the game can be kind of steep when you're trying to figure out how to escape a planet's gravity and such.

The center of mass and center of lift need to be close/on top of one another for airplanes to work properly. I've been trying to design an effective spaceplane that can orbit, but have yet to be successful  the flight model is pretty wonky on planes in this game too, I have lots of difficulty flying efficiently.

It's laughable how quickly the game goes from "cake" to "WHY WON'T IT FLY DAMN IT!"

It's basically Borderlands 1.5 It's definitely fun, but my main issue is the difference between classes merely comes down to passives, which seem like lazy design in that respect. And don't even get me started of Axton. If you are going to create a pet class, leave some room for varied game play, other classes have an active signature skill, but Axton just plops down a turret with no interaction. A passive within a passive tree. Ugh. But the game is worth a buy, sorry I rant on game design.

cortex command is fun, but it's pretty buggy now. B23-24 was more stable.

Check out the mods. You haven't played CC until you've got it fully modded and you've got a t1000 stomping around the map

Dishonored came out on Tuesday. If you guys enjoy games like the Thief and Deus Ex series you'll like this. It's kind of like Thief and Deus Ex had a baby and called it Dishonored. Really fun game with an extremely smooth and refined combat system. I recommend picking it up on PC.

I play 2 or so hours a night. I might not be as far as the guys with the full titan armour and plasma sniper rifles, but i'm getting there.

One thing about not being in a clan/group/community etc is that I don't have to worry about ditching a game when it gets boring.

TF2 getting old? Lay off for a few weeks, play something else, etc.

I'm playing the HotS beta for stacraft 2, and oh-my-god its so bad...so so horribly bad... I know its a beta and everything, but ALL the old builds and nearly all the old timings still work and are viable, and the new units offer no real way to defend them diffrentally or actually at all...

its such a shame, but HotS is just WoL with added units that are broken, uninteresting and add little to the game... and the maps... sweet jesus ****, the maps HOW DID BLIZZARD ACTUALLY MAKE MAPS THIS BAD HOW sc2 is 2 yrs old and blizzard has learn't ****ing NOTHING in that time...

..ugh... seriously not happy
