【IC】GMK CMYK
« on: Thu, 24 September 2015, 02:42:25 »

1.I have not got an estimated price for this, after making final lay-out, i will sent mail to GMK for price
2,I may encounter paying questions just as RGBYK did, whether i would put this on mass drop or transfer to others ,depending..
3.,MOQ is 250.
4.waiting for other questions.

The mockups for the Ctrl keys all have "Ctrl", but the 1.25/1.5 keys in the table have "Control". I'm guessing that mockup might be an older one?

Also, what payment method would you likely be using?

Not to, like, totally stir up ****, but I read some of your posts in other group buys. I would probably not participate in a group buy you ran based on your behavior and attitude. Maybe your intent was just lost in translation but maybe not. Others can make their own conclusions.

GMK colors since their mockups still hasn't improved.

Also I'd like to suggest to add 3 AltGr 1u, 1.25u & 1.5u .

Why do we want 4fn?

EDIT: and yes please, Control on the bigger keys.

Why do we want 4fn?

Because this way you practically cut MOQ in half.

I don't know how this would work with the different Shift keys though...

Yes, like Ivan's first GMK GB, but this one has icon+text legends on the ANSI Shift Keys.

Here's my mockup for the same buy.

I've had it in the works for a while now, but because of a recent career switch I've been busy.
I'm still behind the scenes though, I've been helping setup SKIDATA+ and would be able to launch the above pack for $43 USD + shipping after SKIDATA+ completes.
Same price as RGBYK.

I really like the addition of Win and Menu/Fn keys.

Any chance you would consider them as well?

Yes since I'm not planning on doing anything until after SKIDATA+ there's time for change.
It could even get run before my GB.

Can we relax in the group buy department?  We literally struggled with the rgbyk group buy. I see no reason to hurriedly open another mods group buy that may suffer the same fate.

Rgb and cmy are great. I love colors and have both with their white legends but can we please put a slow down on these things. There are other ways to contribute to the keyboard community than simply cranking out group buys.

1.the control in the table is more old ,the mock-up just originate from CMYW and change the legend to black.
2,one 1×Fn and 1.25×Fn will be delete and add  AltGr 1u, 1.25u & 1.5u . more possble.
3.if the mock-up is too same with taylordcraig‘s ,it doesn't matter , i will hold this until it could happen at a right time.
4,no matter what my attitude and behaviour. this is not just my GB, j have CMYW(28keycaps),RGBY,and the coming RGBYK, the CMYK is the dream i wanna to make this happen . i don't make profit for it. if you don't particitpate in it just because my attitude and behaviour. OK, please leave.

Why not join https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=75459.0 ?

Entered the webstore but no Escape pack in sight..

Will drop them a PM, thanks for the headsup, I thought it was no longer up for orders

I'm game for this too though, having a CMYW backordered from originative, would probably get the CMYK too

In rgbyk there are at least 4 alt gr keys, the cost was about $6. Since many ISO users in the past have expressed their dislike for alrgr, I think that I can do the same.

I have to agree with Azhdar on this.  There have been many GB's in the past that did not cater to the minority, simply to appease the masses.  I personally don't think that should be the case.  I know there are a lot of people out there that will not use Altgr, however there are also users that will not use winkeys, normal Alt, or in your case dashed F & J.  You are being hypocritical with your remark, simply because you have been shot down a lot on the dash/scoop discussion.  I am not saying that one way is better than another, but in the case of a modpack or something similar, I think that the inclusion of a few keys doesn't hurt that badly.

This doesn't prove anything. Do we have to make every gb equal to the previous one simply because it was successful? Personally I would have been much more happy if different windows keys were included.

I'm not being hypocritical because of a previous discussion where nearly 40% of the users said that they wanted bars. What has this to do with anything?

I don't defend minorities by default, and I've already expressed my dislike for alt gr in the rgbyk thread well before the bars discussion.
 Hypocritical. LOL.

RGB and CMYK were never meant for HHKB style layouts - it ruins the symmetry inherent in both the way the mods are supposed to be used and the symmetry of the HHKB layout

Old style windows is pad printed not doubleshot, that's why "mordern winkeys" are often prefered
