By the design being fixed does that mean split back space is out of the question? I do love the overall design and agree with others who have mentioned that it’s a breath of fresh air from all the boards with the same layouts. But I would love split back space and think it adds to the symmetry + hkkb nod.

Yes, exactly, I don't think I will make any other changes to this project, however Salvun has already prepared the top and bottom that will anodize shortly, now I have to wait for Necro for the prototype of the PCB and the gaskets.
The problem is that because of the Corana virus everything is stopped.
So I have to wait until the prototype is finished to understand if everything is ok, update the IC and then see if I can organize the GB.

Yeah, this is pretty sweet! Between your L7 and the Eclipse board also currently on IC, I can't decide which F-rowless 65% I want more. I'll probably have to get both and swap them out on daily.

This damned COVID has stopped everything for quite some time.
Salvun has completed the prototype of the case, I am waiting for Necro for the prototype of the pcb and gaskets.
I hope to see the completed prototype soon and then share something concrete with you.

When I first saw this I liked the design, but didn't think it was right for me. But time keeps going by and I keep looking and it's really growing on me. Seriously considering hopping aboard. Love the L7 logo on the pcb forming a lightning bolt.

Interesting solution to get round the gasket mount + aesthetic border objective! The layout will be subjective but I'm looking forward to some prototypes!
