Cat:( , by CtrlFrek, is a 60% keyboard designed with fun and cats in mind. Cat:( is part of a keyboard series, named Cat:3 Collection, with the other two keyboards soon to be released later on this year. Cat:3 Collection is a collaboration project between CtrlFrek as the designer and Wuqi as the manufacturer. You guys might know Wuqi as the maker of Stello65, a successful past groupbuy. As for us, we're Ctrl /frēk/, or simply CtrlFrek, a bunch of crazed designers who want to design things that we would enjoy using.

Cat:(

Cat:( is a 60% gummy oring mount keyboard. Sounds standard, we know ;), but Cat:( is more than that, as we put our effort into designing the bottom of the keyboard to be as different as possible. We landed on a pretty unconventional design, with an even more unconventional finish, opting for engraving the cats' features after anodizing. Thanks god for Wuqi and his skills with the machines.

Cat:( will start at $299 *subject to change.

We're planning to do an in-stock FCFS sale on Wednesday, the 14th of February, 2024. The time specific will be updated later :3

Store Instruction: Due to shopify's limitation, we have split up the case colors and the external weight into 2 separate store items. Therefore, please choose a case color and external weight separately. We will not process any order that does not have an external weight in checkout.
Wait time: After orders are received, please allow us from 5-7 business day to clear-coat the internal + external weights and pack for shipments 🚚

Helleow freks! We have some important updates regarding the Cat:(

Sale Date: The sale date will be delayed by 2 weeks. The new date will be Wednesday, 14th of February 2024. We apologize for the delay, we realized that we needed more time to QC the product as best as we can.
Price: A lot of the feedbacks for Cat:( have been about the price. We have decided to adjust the price to 299 USD - not including shipping. This is the best price that we can offer at the moment, we will try our best to improve our logistic and manufacturing process to achieve lower price points in the future if possible (absolutely not a promise tho :-X)
Hotswap: Another hot topic :cool: we're currently working on hotswap PCB options. The current layout is below. However, the pcb will most likely be unavailable on the sale date and rather as an option shortly after sale when we finished sorting stuff out.
Weight Measurement: We have updated in the weight measurement. Both of the inner and outer weight are about 2mm in thickness. The inner copper weight is about 200gr. The outer brass/copper weights are about 360gr while the outer aluminum weights are about 115gr.

One question tho, can the screws move around a little bit to make it more symmetrical?
