PS2 adapter for Model M

Hi,
quick question:
Is a PS2-to-USB adapter enough to get a Model M working on a modern PC, or are there other potential problems that could arise?
Greetings,

Yes, but it needs to be an active converter; one of those purple or green adapters which have no electronics inside is not sufficient.
Search for "blue cube"
to find one that is known to work well with a Model M.
