I was a bit surprised how deep I had to dig for therapy. Here's hoping 2018 brings new colorways.

He hasn't stopped but I think the clackvent took a bit too much time, and he has mentioned health problems in the past. The last sale was this year at 4/20 so he's just not as active

I believe
We had a bigger dry cycle between clackradnelac II and this years 4/20, than it's been since the 4/20 sale so I still believe in the clack

I tried the last 4/20 sale -- gmail had me slow down, but hey, at least I tried.

Back when I was collecting I had a guy give me a Clack he thought was fake as a throw in a trade. I found that it wasn't fake just a factory second. I felt bad and sent it back. But I get to say I owned a Clack for a few days.

Someday I will get another.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I held two Clacks in my hand for two days. While I think there are sculpts and caps that far surpass it, I've come to the realization that knowing the work and post-production that go into creating the Skulls, and handling said work, is a privilege to witness.
Anyone who fondles a Clack is to consider themselves counted among the stars. The profile fits almost any keyset and sconces itself amongst it humbly and attractively. Maybe it's originative in value or beauty encapsulated, but a Clack both enhances and compliments a keyboard that almost all keyboard enthusiasts ultimately will recognize.
