Best Keyboard Platform for a TKL using a Humanscale 6G arm

Looking to see what everyone believes to be the best keyboard tray/system to use with a TKL?  I have a Humanscale 6G keyboard mechanism and I am looking to most likely purchase the 950 Standard Compact Keyboard platform, which still looks to be much larger then needed for a TKL platform.  Any suggestions on platforms or even whole Keyboard Platform/Mechanism setups that would fit well with a TKL and not make it look like it is sitting on a giant empty plank?

I've got a small tray that exactly the size of a kinesis advantage, and a tkl looks really smart on it.  However, I do wish I went for the larger version.  Having the tray means the desk is that bit further away, and my desk is more like a giant shelf at a weird height.
