Coser to 350. Ive seen a few for sale and 350 seems to be the price point.

Because it had some dents. If not, price can more 400$.

I have a couple of stock IBM Model F ATs and I need to sell at least one of them.

Would doing an ANSI mod and adding an internal Teensy realistically raise the selling price by at least $50-$60?

The hard cost of the new parts will be $35-$40 delivered (real Teensies always work perfectly and I have had nothing but pain with the cheap knock-offs) and there will be at least a couple of hours of work which I do not want to do for minimum wage.

My experience has been that with certain exceptions, IBM rehab/mod work is seldom valued very highly by buyers.

The silence here is deafening. Not only have 24 hours passed with no response to this, but it seems to have bottlenecked the entire thread!

I am inclined to do the ANSI/Teensy mod anyway and sell it in the high-$100 range. I may not get it here, but I certainly will on ebay.

I never answer because fohat always tells me I'm wrong when he doesn't like the pricing I give.

They've been going on eBay for $100-150, some shipped at $100.  You don't have fees if sold on here, so $150 to $175 is probably a fair range for a modded one.  I haven't seen many sell for more than that and many $200 ones are going unsold, including Elipses' one that he modded.

It certainly wouldn't leave the house for less than $185 if I do the mods, I would simply keep it.

But I agree, I am like you, I buy low and sell high. Patience works in your favor in both directions.

How much would the following be worth?
- A Raptor Gaming K1 in German QWERTZ ISO layout with POM, pad-printed keycaps. MX Black. GID keys not included.
- An off-white Keycool TKL YOTD with MX Clears and a universal TKL plate. I will be modding the Costar stabs later tonight because they stick right now. Comes with the original lasered keycaps.
- Round 4 Noir TKL set. (Pic) Signature Plastics DCS ABS doubleshots. I think I have the Numpad set as well.

Oops, totally missed that is was Sifos daily board - in that case probably $100 plus to the chance to get his beloved set that have all that custom shine.   ;)

Realistically though, your unused set is probably closer to what I quoted and Sifos set should probably be $40 to $50 shipped.  They rarely come up in the classifieds.

IMO, absolutely yes.  Both for materials and time, as you mentioned.

My experience has been that with certain exceptions, IBM rehab/mod work is seldom valued very highly by buyers.

You're not wrong about this though.  :))  Even myself personally, I'd almost rather use the board as is or attempt the mod myself rather than pay.  It's a weird mentality surrounding IBM gear, where I think there's a perceived low-cost expectation for some reason?  Not sure.

It's a weird mentality surrounding IBM gear,

My idea is that users of ancient IBM iron either want to use it as-is, or tinker with it themselves.

That is certainly true for me. I will only buy old IBM gear for cheap prices on the assumption that I am going to do a complete tear-down and re-build every time, even if only for the sake of a thorough cleaning and adjustment. Although if it is not an ANSI-standard piece I will do whatever I can to get it closer to that standard.

And that is obviously why "the one true keyboard" is probably orders of magnitude better-known and sought after than its superior progenitor.

I don't care about whether my purchase is dirty or incomplete, my only requirements are that it works properly electrically and that the case is not broken or damaged. Although I derive considerable enjoyment from "messing around" at the work table to build something special for myself, when I know that I am doing it for a stranger it becomes a rather tedious chore.

But I cannot help but believe that there is a small subset of users, particularly on a forum like this, who might have poor manual or mechanical skills, little or no space and/or tools, and/or more money than time on their hands, who would relish the opportunity to purchase a ready-to-play specialty product for a small handful of ten-dollar bills more than the price of a raw, kludgey, unmodified obsolete piece of keyboard history.

Although past members such as ezrahilyer and 1avidcollector were insulted and flamed unjustly and sometimes ruthlessly in past enterprises, they successfully demonstrated that there is a small but strong market for nicely modded, prime-time-ready IBM history.

So I think I have decided to do the AT mod and list it at $200 on ebay when I am finished. Now the question is whether I want to do considerably more work and add the Alt keys, and at least another few ten-dollar bills for that serious aggravation.

Really trying to get a price so i can sell.

You can always start at the highest price you might expect, and drop 10% per week until it sells.

GH60 from a trade with sth on deskthority. ergoclears, gold plate, green switch stickers and a heavier blue in esc key. Super nice to type on. I have to resolder the space key and the ctrl key so the fit my keycaps. the pgdn key is a fn key, and the \ key is actually backcspace. I used easyAVR for fn layers. Nice to program, worked great.

87 Genuine Novatouch Sliders, 87 45G Topre Domes, & Springs

I have no idea what others would pay but I would pay $40 for the sliders, $20 for the domes, and $1 for the spring. Hope that isn't a lowball offer.

How much for a used Realforce 87u with uniform 45g with brand new yellow keycaps?

I would pay a little more for the sliders, especially if they came with the modifier sliders too! Not sure on the domes though.

Used RF, I would say around $180 for a regular RF 87u, maybe a bit more with the yellow caps? Would depend if you are giving the original caps too or not.

what's a pretty much mint condition dolch pac 60 keyboard going for these days, with a working rj-11 --> ps2 cable+converter and ps2 --> usb converter, and some vintage 80s PBT dyesubs from a typewriter thrown it

Looking for a price check on some stuff:

Winkeyless B.87 (WKL Layout) and B.Pad, both with:
  • 62g lubed/stickered ergo-clears.
  • Lubed Cherry Stabs.
  • White In-Switch LEDs.
  • Matte Frost/Matte Black/Matte Frost Acryllic case with RGB diffueser
  • 2 RGB strips. Completely built/lubed/stickered by WKL. Perfect condition.
  • Would include 2 custom Circa PC cables (Lightsaber w/ Clear Tech Flex, 7 or 8 feet cant remember).

A set of ANSI WKL OG Cherry Double shot 1800 keys. No shine. Very clean good condition caps. Comes with 2 GMK Blue double shot shift keys for regular TKL compatibility.

I would prefer to sell it together as a 'one and done' kit or trade for an Octagon with caps. But would price things out individually if needed.

The b87 you can probably get $300 shipped and paypal to the US.  I've sold one similarly specced for that price.  Not sure on the bpad.

Intelli78 just sold his set of OG beige for $100(non 1800).
