Well at retail slo fis and Keyng go for around $35 - $45 each however since these were from the hyperfuse raffle it mostly up to the buyers discretion

I more so want to know what era it's from:

119412-0
119414-1
119416-2

Cherry MX Black switches.

The West Germany reference puts it at something pre 1990 at a guess :D

Being new to this game, I've missed quite a lot of action - so if I wanted to get a Rustler and Keythulhu, somehow, somewhere .. what would it cost (beside an arm and a leg) these days? Should I just sit down and cry?

They should both be sold for retail. It'll be hard to find people selling not trading though, and if they are selling they'll either be for retail and go insanely fast or marked up because people are dumb-dumbs.

No. Have patience. True, you may have missed a lot of action but there is a lot more to come.

Rustler was $35 or 40 and most Keythulus go for $25-35 retail but start small and work to get the caps you want.

There are so many sick sales currently running or running sometime this month, just off the top of my head there's Krytone, Keycollectiv, KatzenKinder, HKP, retrochick, and girlDC. Why cry b/c you can't get a Bro? Broaden your horizons.

So umm can anyone estimate what a Hi-Pro is worth after:

1. All Hi-Pro switches have been replaced with regular switches (from 87u) EXCEPT for the number pad
2. The scroll lock switch is missing, exposing the rubber dome
3. All domes in the dome sheet are still there, and 45g if I'm not mistaken
4. All Hi-Pro caps have been removed.

I just swapped the switches + caps over to my 87u and am so happy with 55g Hi-Pro that I doubt I'll ever return the board to normal.

I guess it all depends on the buyer.

You might have better luck parting it out for spare parts as the case is a different color than standard black, people occasionally need screws or springs etc.

That crying comment was more of a joke, of course (didn't think it's necessary to mark it as such, but oh well).

My horizons are quite broad, it just happens that those 2 are designs I like very much.
Of all those sales you mentioned, not many caps interest me (or rather, what I've seen so far),
and I won't buy things just to say I have them or only to sell them later.

Anyways, thanks for the answers  :thumb:

Hmm, I guess I'll keep an eye out for people needing parts (domes, springs, screws, case) until there is nothing left! On to the free stuff thread!

You can certainly try to sell it as a whole, I just have no idea what range to value it.

Didn't know they were on sale. If they were $220 like normal (so $230 after shipping in the US), 200 wouldn't be too bad. Though maybe it's a bit high, they probably sell faster at 175.

Yeah, I'd say $175 if they were selling at $220. Maybe a bit less considering they're on sale.. $160 or something?

Taobao is tricky..you never really know the item is in stock until you ask. And some may be look to be the right board but aren't...I am watching a few, and looking for the label to actually say G80/1800 HAU

Am I asking too much for my YOTH? Or is it just not desirable at all?

https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=63570.0

For it shipped, I don't think so. I was briefly (as in one day only) looking for one, ISO and MX whites are 2 things I don't like otherwise I would have bought it :(

I'm pretty sure you paid more than 160GBP for it right?

With everything with it, I probably paid about £250. With shipping the sleeve from the US, and the cable from Pexon too. I'm asking like £130 before shipping as well, so yeah. I might just stick it on ebay.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

I have never seen those trade hands in a public sale.  I remember the original ones were going for double group buy price due to rarity, but now that MK has their own and the hype may have died down, I'm not sure what they're worth.

Well they cost ~$43 originally so I was gonna go with $50 shipped but didn't know if there was any demand or not.

I would assume you could sell them for that price.  But again, never seen them sell before.

I got 2 broken DAS Keyboards lying around. One is an ultimate, blank keycaps with blue switches (i spilt a drink on it and it just didn't work anymore). The other one has blue switches too (I think so at least, gotta check). Not sure if it's broken or I just wanted a new one.

What would those be worth?
