That fine line when opening mail becomes more of a chore than exciting.

It's a nice looking phone, but I'm still not sure why the edge even exists. It seems like a gimmick too far, but it looks good I guess.

A guy at work got one Friday too. Release day :)

very nice can You tell me your first observations of the kbp wrist rest as I have wanted together one. However with tiger and inanis's amazing woodworking skills it would have to be a hell of a deal for me to not buy one of those ...

At first glance, I must say I love the angled side as it gives much better typing experience than a straight wristrest. It also have good construction/cutting and I really like the touch of the walnut ;)

However and from the downside, the wood is not as smooth as I expected (it has little imperfections/porous wood, but maybe that's normal in walnut) although I can't really feel it when I touch, of course. The treatment is also very minimal, so I'm thinking on giving it a coat of bee wax or some other proper wood treatment/finish.

Custom wristrests have the great advantage of the wood block being "cherry-picked", which is very nice! but on the other hand custom ones can be very expensive (please bear in mind that I've paid £22 for the KBP)

hope it helps  :thumb:

I got myself a  laptop for school.

It's a 13.3" ASUS F302LA
In the end.. the keyboard's most grand form of existence is as an ethereal bridge between man and machine..    Each depression of the keys, evanescent.. Our transitory thoughts crashing into the web, carving canyons through the internet wasteland such that life may once again flourish..

Ganesha.

What is that.

That is a gift from a friend of mine who is currently in Nepal. Or did you mean the form itself?

No, I know the form; just didn't know whether it was a keycap. Is it a small statue?

Ah, right, yeah, it is a small statue made of some kind of resin.
