Hi to all,
Here is the latest prototype of the Macropad Type-9 Case (This one is 3d printed, The real one will be full aluminum)

I am expecting the recieve all the (50pcs) Aluminum cases during May
It will finally be 25pcs Red and 25Pcs Dark Grey

I will keeping you updated.

Just saw this thing, looks awesome and pretty much what I was looking for, def. gonna keep watching this one! Keep up the good work. I like the last proto more than the red one before with the sharp edges.

100 "Preset Layout Cards" has been ordered.
Here is the definitive design - You write your layout on one side, and the name of the software on the other.

Each macropad will be sold with 2 cards.

So are these just cards to help you remember what the layout is? Also thanks for doing this, I'm always trying to find cheaper but still stylish macropads than the pricey (for me at least) ones Rama sells.

Hi M, yes the cards are to remind you the current layout of your macropad. I can produce some software related layout cards if there is a demand.

Concerning production, here is the status :
I will open sales once all the parts are recieved.

I just recieved them. Very nice quality, very thick.
I have now all parts exept the cases.

Yeah I’ll be all over this. Looks amazing and that price seems incredibly reasonable. Will be following this for when it eventually drops

It was mentioned earlier in the IC. Said around $49-69 for the full kit.

This was an estimation target for 100 units before the case quotations.
Price has not been fixed yet. I will keep you informed.

The macropad actually works great with Ableton 9 software or any music daw (Fl Studio, Garageband ....)
You can record music without using your regular computer keyboard. I actually put it on top of my synthesizer with all the useful shortcuts (Record, Undo, Next Instrument ...)
It allows you to focus more on music and less on the tool.

This case design is super slick. If the price does end up in the $60 range, I would happily join the initial GB in dark grey, and a R2 with different colors.

I love the idea of a small macro-pad like this for streaming and other work-flow tasks. I would love to see the profile lowered as much as possible, but I'd be keen on a kit to put together at the right price range.

Just ordered one in dark grey, however not sure what is the difference between International Small Packet and International Heavy shipping. Is there any difference in speed or tracking? Went with the Heavy just in case...

International Heavy has a guaranteed 5 to 8 days delivery for most destinations (Including Europe and US) with international tracking. The macropad is shipped within a big box.
International Small Packet can take longer depending on the destination, but has international tracking as well.
