Is Compaq SK-2700 a Mechanical Keyboard?
« on: Mon, 19 September 2011, 03:07:56 »
Heya guys,

I was wondering if this keyboard actually uses some kind of mechanical switches or not. I'll attach a few images and maybe by that you could help me out.

It has never been cleaned since the day I got them (which was like... wow, maaaaaany years ago), I like it dirty okay... :(

P.S. Sorry for not linking attachments, I'm not allowed to do so yet, but please check out the pictures anyway!

Second P.S. I warn you, the picture on the switches might be considered as NSFW.

No it doesn't. Those yellow things you can see are the rubber domes that sit over the membrane. Even though it's labelled Compaq, it's made by NMB.

Oh I see. Thanks for clearing it out!

It's still pretty okay to type on I must admit.
