Price check on an original das keyboard (MX blues) with yellow doubleshot caps? Someone local is offering it to me in a trade and I have no idea if it's worth it as i'd just get it to sell it on here.

Very low supply, very low demand. Non-original caps are not ideal though, since most people buying an original das want it for collecting.

Also, if it has MX blues it's not an original das. The Das II was the first with mechanical switches.

Thanks for all this, cribbit. I also just learned his doubleshots are rosewill... so lol. Nah i will pass on that. Thanks bro.

What is the value of an unused kbd75 kit?
Includes PCB, plate, and case. Its an 84key layout aluminum case with an acrylic middle layer to show the PCB underglow. Being shipped from CN to USA via taobao agent.
Here's a link to the taobao GB:
https://world.taobao.com/item/541449437611.htm?fromSite=main&spm=a1z0k.7386009.0.d4919233.zSmeQs&_u=t2dmg8j26111

I have a buyer who's interested, and we're considering 3 options: bare kit, assembly with zealios and stabilizers, and assembly with krytox 103/205 lubed zealios.

Also, what is a reasonable price for my WKL b.mini w/ RGB diffuser and zealios?

* $200 - Floss modded 1993 SSK
* $125 - Planck with black milled bottom, 65g Zealios (R1, purple)
* $60 - SPRiT 60% PCB (R2) and clear acrylic plate
* $?? - Hack Orange Clack, MX
* $?? - Celestial Blue BBv2, MX

Hello!

I'm a newbie, that bought 2 IBM Model F XTs.
So, I want to know are those prices reasonable for them in their condition.

First:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-IBM-5150-CLICKY-MECHANICAL-KEYBOARD-83-KEY-/282375810999?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&nma=true&si=T9UBq0tf%252F2N43jpFJeO4Jy8C9PY%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
"Pulled from a working 5150 IBM computer."
Price: 75$ + 10$ ship.

Second:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/381952449387?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
"in good condition, no chips, cracks, breaks or damage, few light scratches/scuffs, marks/markings. Collar around the cable has detached. Keyboard has not been tested, working condition is unknown and is being sold for parts or repair."
Price: 74.88$ + 8.57$ ship.

It seems that the first F is in working condition, but the second is untested, but according to the photos it looks like unused (This is why I bought it =)
Do I have high chance that the second is in working condition?

I mean the second board looks good but you will need converters to get it to run on most computers now.

you paid too much

Oh...

What a fair price for F XT's?

Before buying I read this:

Here, https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=87636.0, in Great Finds F 122 keys was sold for 110$ with shipping.
Are 122 Fs so rare that 30$ difference in price is justified? Or this "great find" isn't so great? =)

Also, found these on Deskthority: "For IBM Model F XT my limit is 80€ for an instant purchase. That's the German market though." (22 feb)

After found "LiteOn Model F" https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=87915.0. But bids allready at 46$ + 26.05$ ship for me.

So, at that moment I thought that price is fair.

~$80 shipped is not so terribly bad for an XT these days, although it was half that, or less, until a couple of years ago.

The 122-key terminal style is far more versatile and there is a lot more that you can do with it, besides having half again as many switches and keys, if you are stripping it for parts.
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

What would you guys value the Kindred cap I won from JellyKey at?
162076-0
162078-1
162080-2
162082-3
162084-4

Afaik there were only 5 of these ever made & I am the only person outside of Joiha that has one. I have to be clear about this here, I am interested in a valuation of this cap because I'm thinking of possibly putting it up for trade. If I do go through with it, it will be only for trade as the guys at Johia asked that I do not resell the cap & I would like to respect their wishes.

It honestly has me torn because it is pretty awesome being the owner of such a rare cap, but the cap has just sat inside of it's container since I got it for the most part. I'm thinking I would rather trade it someone who would actually use the cap on one of their KBs for something I've been looking for, rather than just keep it hidden here with me. I'm still fairly new to the mech KB scene & have become much more interested in making & collecting custom KBs than artisan caps, so I figured I may be able to find a trade that would be worthwhile to me for it. Although before I go posting this for trade I would like to get a decent ideal of what the community values such a cap at. Thanks ahead of time for the input guys! :thumb:

Sadly, I need to downsize my massive collection of keyboards, but I have no idea how to price -- especially since I'm selling from within Canada.

- WhiteFox, "the true fox" edition... Gateron Browns (with original box)
- KeyTrak Blue Alps (95 key) with double-shot keycaps (with original box, amazingly, but trackball doesn't work.. otherwise immaculate).. not sure yet if I can part with this one  :-X
- Bolt-modded IBM Model M 1391401, 04-04-90 (grey label)
- RF 87U 55g, black case + white/grey keycaps (with original box)
- Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2012 (MX Blue, backlit) (with original box)
- NMB HiTek Space Invaders (clicky)
- Dolch G80-1800, MX Blue (original switches, G80 black case) with converters

All are in pretty much perfect condition as far as I can tell, pretty much brand new.

Also misc:

- Ducky Blue/Grey PBT keycaps
- GMK Dolch keycaps
- Zealios switches (62/65g purple and linear)

Thanks for any advice regarding pricing!

Can't help you without pictures and/or model numbers.

It's probably not worth a ton, but the keycaps on them tend to sell pretty quickly.

Vintage blacks and sexy pbt dye-sub caps?

You should pluck a keycap off, to determine the switches.

Rare switches and rare caps, looks like the legit thing. :]
The caps alone are worth a fortune, take Tactical's suggestion, the deskthority community goes wild for vintage boards, you could get a price estimate on there or even a buyer.

It is a rebranded Cherry G81-3000 with some nice doubleshot key caps. It has been seen quite a few times before.

The keycaps make it valuable. There have been at least one replica key sets made to resemble it, possible more than one.

There are three known revisions of the Cherry MY switch. The ones that are all-black are a bit more unusual while the more common contemporary Cherry MY has a white slider in the middle and a black housing.

Rare does not always mean coveted, though ... In this case they are not.
There have been those that have said that the black (oldest) variation feels a bit better but I am not sure how exactly they meant and I have not compared the black one myself.

ohhh thank you very much

but i have an other one just it is not blue , it is triumh adler too, but I could not find such a thing on internet
a little different than the blue

The switches suck, don't get me wrong. The collect value's through the roof though. The keycaps are a treasure to have and the board is a must-have to a vintage keyboard collection.

I don't know how much you got them for, but if you got them through a recycling center you got a damn good deal.

1500$ maybe possible but I wouldn't spend that much!

The MY switches is black which is a lot better than the whites.

Anyway, if one would type on this beauty, they would replace the pcb it's easyish.

Post the other Triumph man!

You get at least 500$ easily and way more with better pictures and the right buyer!

I would love it if you sell to me hehe. But I can only put 300$ hahaha.

Those are very rare you know.

Can you pull the j and f keycaps? They maybe PBT  and not double shots ABS.

Let me take a shot. This is by all means not definitive.

Sadly, I need to downsize my massive collection of keyboards, but I have no idea how to price
- WhiteFox, "the true fox" edition... Gateron Browns (with original box)   $150
- KeyTrak Blue Alps (95 key) with double-shot keycaps (with original box, amazingly, but trackball doesn't work.. otherwise immaculate).. not sure yet if I can part with this one  :-X   $120-240, depending on the switch condition
- Bolt-modded IBM Model M 1391401, 04-04-90 (grey label)  $80-100
- RF 87U 55g, black case + white/grey keycaps (with original box) $150, maybe a bit more
- Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2012 (MX Blue, backlit) (with original box)  $50?
- NMB HiTek Space Invaders (clicky) $50-75
- Dolch G80-1800, MX Blue (original switches, G80 black case) with converters $150-200, closer to the lower figure, I think

What would you guys value the Kindred cap I won from JellyKey at?

:thumb:

One offs are impossible to price, as there is no precedent for them. Even from vendors that have multiple one offs like Jelly, not all of them have gone up for sale and not all of them are desired the same.

I would just put up a sale thread, set an end time, and say that any offers for it must also show the keeb it would be used on. If someone can't convince you they truly love the cap, you don't have to sell to them.
I typed this post on my Slanck. I also developed a stronger, cleaner, easier handwiring method.

Just want to point out that if you want to sell on Geekhack, you can't ask for offers, you must have a listed price.
