Hey I got no problem with people that wanna GO cause I'm 100% on that same boat. I actually get out of the way when I see folks coming up on me, cause I don't wanna be in the way. It's the people that just don't use their signal and almost crash or like, just drive like asshats.

Just got off the phone with none other than MW, and we had this similar discussion...

We pretty much decided that every driver out there is a bad driver, except for yourself.  Which is the mentality 95% of drivers probably have...

I really dislike it when good discussions are taking place and people with higher authority decide to interfere losing momentum of the situation, thought process, and history of responses.

Instead of contacting people through PM's, ASKING (not TELLING someone to stop) they just decide to delete traction.  First we have people who buy dreams, now we have people who stop them.

I certainly hope I'm in the right area this time...

Massive debate on "Geekhack economics" in the what did you get in the mail today? thread...

And by "geekhack economics" I am more referring to the ethics of buying and selling CCs to gain respect around here...

Oh god I hate so many things about the sale and purchase of CCs and Korean customs. Complete lack of transparency otherwise people would see the favoritism.

Supposedly there was a dibs sale in October? There is no way to even see that it took place, let alone a way to put your name into the hat...

LOL.

It was clearly stated in the 4grabs thread, CC had some left over that he sold to the next in line people.

Why should there be transparency? This is the free market where vendors can do what they want.

The last 2 pages of that thread annoyed me to hell. I'm just staying away from clacks altogether, and even just making and selling my own caps, I slightly get brought into the damn argument! I've said countless times in my subforum that I want no clack style sales and take great displeasure about anyone selling them for more.

I agree.  Your sale style is 1000x better than those CC sales.  Hands down.

And you're right, CCs aren't worth it.  I only have one, but I didn't buy it because it was a CC.  I bought it cuz I <3... (see below pic):

I hate how some religions try to force their religion on you. I know it is all well and good that you are a mormon, or jehovas witness or what ever, but the people that once worshiped the sun god, and fertility god, and the god of everything known to them on earth also felt the same way once. Where are they now? Oh you have a convenient explanation for that, I'm sure they did too for what ever religion they trampled or evolved from. Believe in what you want, but don't force it on me. If it was so great people would be flocking to it....

Hmm.. well I suppose that's ok on the small scale.

But then if those same "friends" go out and show off what they got that nobody else can get, that's when we start running into problems...

I always love seeing stuff that I don't and can't have, life would be boring if we could all get what we want!

I don't have a problem with some getting stuff for free if they go a long way back with CC, they are his caps to do what he wants with them.

I always love seeing stuff that I don't and can't have, life would be boring if we could all get what we want!

I don't have a problem with some getting stuff for free if they go a long way back with CC, they are his caps to do what he wants with them.

But then if those same "friends"

That is the problem, those "friends" are always the same, they are a group of people that gets every piece.
Someone once quoted a post i made with "you need to network to get items, that takes time"... well how are someone supposed to network to become someones friend when they are getting lol'd at, and never gets any attention on their posts just because they are not their friends. sorry for bad english, it is not my main language

I'm not going to tell you anything surprising here, it's an age old saying:  Patience is a virtue.

There are monks that take an eternity to reach enlightenment, and if it's something you really want you should have passion for obtaining it.  You're right, saying things like you need to go network and it takes time is very ambiguous and vague.  But what fun is your journey if I gave you every answer?  You'd lose passion, give up this hobby and like a lot of other people, sell off everything you have for another passion/hobby.

I still love keyboards today because there is still so much I can learn from people.  I reach out, I email, I PM, I discuss and I try.  It's a passion, something you have a deep intimate relationship for.
