I hear that keyboards hate you more.

But I dislike the feeling I get when I use this RF.  I know logically that I'm typing faster and probably a bit more accurately as well, but there's just something weird about it.  I'm even getting used to the quiet thocks instead of clicks, clacks and clunks.

I hate it when something is going to happen, but doesn't have a fixed time or date and is therefore referred to as 'soon'.

My fingers seem to not care a ton pressure they have to exert, but they do like clicky feedback -

topre - 70
blue - 75
red - 68 (had 1 error)
black - 72
BS - 73

Red was the worst, but I kinda knew that already.  My fingers don't communicate well with that switch.  I was surprised by topre being right smack in the middle because of how much faster sounding it was than the others.

So I'm new, but I can understand peoples' dislike of ripster solely through his stuff on other sites.  You, however, seem to take it a step further (please don't take that as anything more than an observation). Was he particularly douchey?  I saw you mention that he might show up at your house and that just confuses the **** out of me.

From there, I applaud you being able to resist addiction, I've plenty of family members that can't/couldn't.  You can buy a RF 45g from me! I was confused about the stripper hate until I saw teases/thieves on the list and then it made sense.  Dogs are awesome, though, we're just going to have to disagree there.

I thought about doing the whole list, but that seemed kinda *******y and I'm really just doing this because I'm bored and trying to find excuses to type and fall in love with this topre and I don't think they're working.

My dislike of Rip comes from long ago and hasn't gone away yet. He spams me, big no no, then I saw a post where he said he was talking to me and the never happened. And the Lego thing bugs me because he is certifiably old.

The dog thing stems from an allergy. I almost died from a dog bite when I was a kid. But I have no prob with cats so I have always had them.

I don't like strippers because they are dirty.

And I've been off morphine for 13 years without a single relapse. I lost everything to it though. And now, after all that time, I still think about it every few days.

I hate doing "group work" when I am the only one that actually does anything, 3 people in my group, one has NEVER shown up in like 6 weeks of the project, and now the other one decides to go on a week long holiday interstate. I hate that the project I was so keen on doing has made me wish I had chosen a project that I had no interest at all in.

You know what really grinds my gears?  People that can't use a manual transmission properly and grind the gears.

So the gears grind if you use it properly?  Your post reads a bit like that ...
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

But there're so many things that drive me insane! Ignorant people, populism (yeah, politics is full of it), organized religion (monotheistic stuff, environmentalism), war on artificial enemies (terrorism&CP are popular nowadays, communists/imperialists before that), some GNOME developers (e.g. McCan't), orwellian corporations&governments, trolls that defend "intellectual property" (whatever it is, if it exists), socialist EU, BS like gender studies, Java and sooo much other stuff...

Aw shiii.

I thought the green made you mellow.

And knowing that someone paid double what I did makes me mellow about what I spent on my mx-mini.

I hate people that make me drive the price of goods up to prices they aren't willing to spend.

I also hate people like me that are stupid enough to spend prices people aren't willing to spend.

Essentially, I hate me.

I hate it when I feel like I've lost my right to speak about someone.  We used to have a thread in Classifieds, which was our ranking system on how reputable a seller/buyer was.  And here I thought, finally, I could post about things I hate only to feel like it's being taken away from me, right before my eyes.

Ripster was right about the way things are being run these days on GH...

I hate when someone (WHO SPENDS AN OVER PRICED AMOUNT OF MONEY) on 14 custom Korean keyboards, to have his face saved by the mods.

I hate when someone who overpays for things, is exposed, and gets himself saved by the mods so that he can continue to overpay for items from Korea to EARN (LOLOL) respect.

Build quality, unique design, etc. They are just hands-down better than your standard filco, leopold, etc.

They typically have aluminum cases and plates, both anodized. On top of the fact that they are usually limited quantities.

Take a moment and look at all of the pictures in this thread. It's not about the language or the caps, it's about the keyboard itself. They are custom made, usually nice quality, usually programmable, a lot of times, just look nice, etc.

These are custom keyboards we're talking about.  There are a couple of communities (sorta like geekhack) in Korea that develop very nice custom boards that exhibit extremely high quality, craftsmanship, and style.  Most have anodized aluminum casing and are fully reprogrammable.  They are not made in large numbers so they are highly sought after.  Especially since people who have them post nice photos of their lustworthy Korean customs for us to drool over.  Dan is a good example his photography and collection is top notch.

The rest of us have to pay big bucks to have an example of our own (that's what I did).

What is so great about Korean keyboards.... Seriously why not just buy Korean printed keycaps? o_0 sorry for noob question

The rest of us have to pay big bucks to have an example of our own (that's what I did).

or, you know, just go on kbdmania and find somebody nice enough to help you.

you scratch my back i scratch yours type of deal.

Koreans are rather friendly and for the most part arent hoarders and dont treat this as a "please respect me for the number of stuff i own" type of thing.

nobody here that has a connect has done anything out of the ordinary to get a little help. hell, some of them dont even ask for anything in return.

over paying only hurts the market and yourself because people will take advantage of you.
No, he’s not around. How that sound to ya? Jot it down.
