I think ISO is more important than G80-1800 addons, as there are more european users than G80-1800 users.

people actually believe this :^) down with iso

I think most ISO users would be OK with a 4-key kit: Enter, Shift, and two 1u keys (R1 &  R2), all of them necessary to fill out an ISO keyboard.

I wanted to get some custom hungarian keycap sets for myself and I contacted a lot of keycap makers long while ago, but lack of ISO support was a no go.

Shadovved's latest GB seemed to be promising, but he was not able to get the necessary ISO Enter, so ~1 month ago I turned to imsto with my sketches.
(Actually 2nd time, as I already wrote him a message on his webshop half year ago, but got no answer, but that's a different story.)

Now he was helpful here, and he said, that he'll be able to do my order as part of his upcoming GB to cut the costs.

But right now I'm losing faith, because my pet project doesn't seem to be doable properly. :'(
Or it will ruin my wallet badly.

Imsto, can you please add 1 key to the 1u size for compatibility? Either 1u Fn, or 1u "Menu" key

This will be very useful to pair with the short right shift.

1U Menu is also used on keyboards with 6U space.

I would suggest using the following layout, as I dont think that there are that many buyers for each of the country specific layout.
Show Image

of course the ö and ä keys would only have to contain 2 letters (Æ / Ä) and (Ø / Ö) as we can just interchange them.

For the love of god, NO!!!
Just about every Dane I have talked about keyboards with, hates that kind of compromise. It looks cheap and like it's sole purpose in life is cost efficiency.
And, really, how high is the MOQ for each layout? because I am pretty sure there is enough danish and norwegian persons that would join, the gb just needs to be posted to local PC forums.

I agree, I would want the proper legends also for the layout I use and I think most people would prefer it that way. That's the reason I use blanks on my keyboard, mod kits aren't made with Mac modifiers (cmd, opt) and most don't have R2 ctrl and R1 caps lock.

I did email imsto about adding a Swedish/Finnish layout and he said MOQ of 10 so maybe MOQ of 10 for each layout?

  • Spend all my money.

I think ISO is more important than G80-1800 addons, as there are more european users than G80-1800 users.
But how many keys does it take to make it compatible for all ISO users?

I think most ISO users would be OK with a 4-key kit: Enter, Shift, and two 1u keys (R1 &  R2), all of them necessary to fill out an ISO keyboard. Only half of those keys are included. I'd rather have all 4 or none (and a later custom 4 key kit).

Edit: Image for clarification (ignore extra enter):

That's not completely right. Many ISO users use their country layout so we need äöü and another numrow in case of a German layout.

Not just those keys.

As I calculated, my requested hungarian layout has 43 different keys compared to a british ISO layout keyboard.
German is even worse, as you have abbreviations on the mod keys in german instead of english...

Are the options in the your web page is the final fixed layout? (http://imsto.cn/index.php?route=product/product&path=62&product_id=115)

Could you tell me more details about that options and show me the exact pictures?

And if I want to participate this GB, I have to order that page?

When is the due date for ordering?

Imsto, can the "Sys Rq" and "Break" legends be printed on the sides of the keycaps rather than on top? The same as on your BSP sets.

Yup, I'd be in for some side print as well, it'd be the only selling point for me at this point

I'm going to guess the difference is the regular Hangul is the one in the OP and the Cherry Hangul is the one he's made before.

Can we get some confirmation on what font these are using? Are all of these the weird mixed ivan/cherry font? Is the Desko set the mixed font or is it the cherry replica?

I would be happy to buy a few sets if they used the cherry replica font and not the Ivan one like round 3.
