How much would a pair of Beast switch tools (stainless steel) worth?
around the ori price

What's the original price? I couldn't find anything here. Thank you!

From the sale of steel beast switch opening tools in August 2013 with shipping (CONUS) it was around $17 for 1 pair and $30 for 2 pair for international it was around $21 and $35 respectively.

Hmn, has lot of strange legend... I think if you could fix some of the wrong keys like get a correct numpad enter and find something with right row instead of PAGE DOWN, and something better than those other profile Windows key you stuck in the cursor block... you maybe could get something closer to $100.

Thank u. This price is my unexpected. I think it's worth the old black shaft,
Thank you for your price guide, I now go to publish a [WTS]

Well... it had lot of odd key, even if they are only pad print they are some pretty unusual legend which may interest some, also 122 key have become more popular again and since they haven't been made by Cherry in decades of course the supply is limited.

In clearing out an old office, I found these two boards...
Think I might use them as bartering tools for an mx clack? :p

Are they worth something?

That IBM is the rubber dome version of the Model M.

I have never gotten more than $15 + shipping for one, but it is a nice board anyway.
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”

How much is the SoWare keyset worth?

I don't remember one selling since late 2013 when jcrouse cleaned house, and he sold 2 86-key sets for $175 each.  link

Their rarity makes them rather valuable (you probably know that).  If a seller wanted to sell them for more than what jcrouse sold them for, I'm almost positive they could.  Take that for whatever you want.  :P

Very Minty  IBM Model M  Blue Label made by Lexmark I think it's been sitting in the box since 1995.  Plugged it in and everything works, keys, lights.  Is there still a market for the Lexmarks, I have a 1391401 and the feel is very very similar.  It's more subtle than I can distinguish.    No dust or debris under the keys.
Cheers  :)

It's just the key caps, not the board.

Honestly, I'd say $5-10 max for the caps.  They're not high quality and the demand is very low.

Maybe somewhat more for a very early date in excellent condition.

About $200-250 each for NIB/mint. Maybe $150-175 for ones that are visibly used but still good.

Maybe those numbers were accurate in 2009-2010. Today, those boards would fetch far more (assuming anyone ever wanted to sell). $500+ for used, NIB even more I expect, maybe up to $800-900 range. $200-250 is just not realistic at all.

It depends on the market you're selling them on. On GH, I expect SAV/HASRO would fetch around $350-450 NIB, but on other markets I'm sure they could get much more.

SAT wouldn't fetch anywhere near $800-900, even NIB. They usually sell around $350 NIB.

Btw, the boards Signature is talking about are used but very good condition. Except the SAT, which is NIB.

Sure, the SAT would not, but the Cyrillic keyboards would fetch a premium for sure. I bet they would be snapped up within a day at $350 on GH -- probably even at $450. Of course I am only speculating, have not witnessed any being sold during my time on GH. Just my gut feeling.

I can guarantee this, because I would be the buyer if one popped up for that price

It's strange though. October 2013 there was a mint, no box, HASRO for sale for $290. It took weeks/months to sell iirc. I really wish I had bought it back then, but I was a newb.

You can get 98% identical sets in current production, made with the same tooling. I have no idea why someone would pay 4x as much just because it older.

Well, mainly because it's the original. Not everyone buys keyboards just for use, some people like to collect vintage boards. Also, some people cannot stand f/j with nubs and find them really uncomfortable, and some people don't like to have a wonky/too short right shift.

Oh, and you do also get a nice ANSI G80 along with the keycaps in the case of the ESA.

I feel you, and I understand collecting... but some of the very high prices are surely reality distortion or simply madness. Unique models like say the 5000, or ones with some personality like some of the odd 0*** stuff from before the time of layout standardization that will NEVER EVER EVER likely be made again I can understand higher price. Its a finite thing, not likely to be reproed... I get that. Paying tons of money for plain 3000 boards, essentially just for keysets that can still be made... nope. Should originals command a price premium? Well sure, but it should be reasonable.

What I'm trying to say is that _exact_ replicas can't be made. Yes, they are very, very similar - almost identical. But they are not exactly the same. Different dyesubbing equipment [for imsto's run anyway], no scooped f/j, no spacebar, messed up right shift. If it were possible to make _exact_ replicas of Cherry dyesubs, like we are able to make exact replicas of Cherry doubleshots [although nobody has due to poor legend choice] then I would agree with you 100%. I would not pay tonnes if I could get an exact replica of Cherry dyesubs, but unfortunately I can't. This is why I think the much higher prices of $350-450 are justified. That said, I think people who will pay $750+ for a 3000 are a bit insane.

I recently came into the possession of 2 Lexmark model m SSK p/n: 1397961. One is in very good condition. The second is in okay condition and missing the AT cable. I am just wondering what these are worth? I haven't been able to find much information online about it, only a post from 2011 regarding one that was sold on eBay. Any help would be appreciated.
