I'd be interested in seeing this too. I have the Leeku V3 PCB and plate, and a stock G81 case. Waiting on switches, but I'll be building it soon. Would be good to see what changes to the case I have to do, I thought it fit in there as is besides the USB.

Found this piece at taobao and got it for 110usd. Model is G81-1800
just received it not more than an hour ago. unpacked and find the condition of the keyboard is almost like new except a small scratch on the spacebar.

started typing on it and this how i feel generally,
- the switches feels a bit clumsy, not as crisp as my other blue switches
- the typing experience feels hollow, very plastic
- key caps are 99.5% brand new. Love the caps
- Love the layout, good for working and even gaming.
- the case is way too thin, when you accidentally tap on it you can actually hear that hollow plastic sound.

Plans
- changing the pcb (possibly leeku with plate)
- lube all the switches or even maybe changing them
- add LEDs, orange is my color
- spray the case to dolch color
- custom a usb cable for it
- custom pvc sticker for the num lock, caps lock and scroll lock indicators.

Would love to hear what you guys think about the mods im gonna make. any suggestions?

This might be one of the rare Dolch Keyboards https://deskthority.net/wiki/Cherry_G80-1813 , and if this is the case I wouldn't mod it. 1800 case are easy to find and cheap, it would be a shame to mod something rare, if this is the case.
Maybe you can post more details :)

This is cut from the page, a message from seller, saying : (Google Translated)
Used keyboard , Condition very new . Removed from the industrial cabinet , keyboard cap absolutely no signs shine !
Keyboard inside very clean! !
MY 1800 is to take the housing shell traded . Because the original IPC keyboard shell , especially ugly !
Keyboard board is absolutely standard G80-1813HFU, with MY shell, is a hundred percent compatible ! Please rest assured !

Ok, so it's not something rare :)) It's a frankenboard, a G81 case, a PCB from another board (maybe Dolch ?? ) and Dolch keycaps . But a not bad find :)
I think if you open it you will see that the PS/2 cable is soldered on the PCB or something like that.

Would love to hear what you guys think about the mods im gonna make. any suggestions?

$110 is a nice price for that...

Sometimes MX blues can vary for whatever reason, and that board looks like it has some newer MX blues. Just swap some vintage blues in and it'll be much nicer to use :), easy to find, just need a "Dolch" G80-1813, the slider color is lighter than what's in your board right now.

Personally, I wouldn't mod it much beyond swapping in some new switches/sliders. Enjoy it for what it is!

Thank you for the suggestion. Had an headache by just  thinking about all the de-soldering and soldering. I still havent make up my mind now between getting the TX1800 and salvage the caps from this g80 or keep it and just do as what you suggest changing the switches. I really like the design of g80 case dou, but it just feels too hollow. I just cant make up my mind right now.
