Nostalgia and that GON look like a match made in heaven.

AND WHATTT. Dude the exact same thing happened to my spacebar stab on my GON NS 38GT. Worst feeling ever. I think it happened when I tried removing the crazy tight leopold PBT spacebar.

Indeed they are a nice match!

Did you end up rebuilding the entire thing or did you manage to slip the stab back in the way it came out? It's a pretty ****ty feeling, its all coming back to me now as this happened a while ago while changing from hyperfuse dsa to the bro set.

Do you mean the wire or the plastic part? It wasn't the stab wire that came out of mine, but the little black part that mounts to the stem of the keycap.



Bummer that you had to rebuild a fresh keyboard too. :(

finally rebuilding my Nerd60 ****ing proper. Just finished desoldering and removing switches #HYPE, it did not deserve to be laying around with my junk keyboards, i spent way too much on this thing for it not to be built and complete. its kind of even disrespectful to GON in some strange way too.

Mighty fine looking HHKB GON you have there, Glod.  Dolch looks great on anything, but it looks especially nice on this board.  What kind of switches?

Just noticed that as well. GON only has 1x-1.5x-7x-1.5x-1x and 1.25x-1.25x-6.25x-1.25x-1.25x-1.25x listed on his site.

i really had very little reasons to do it other than just because i could and i like the way it looks

thanks guys, im using blue switches with 78g korean springs from Sprit's group buy, they are essentially clear springs  but are made a little bit softer when bottoming out, i think the closest it feels like is mx white/milk switches but more "classic" mechanical feeling and sounding

also every switch has sip sockets so i can hot swap different color leds

No idea m8, when I hit him up on Skype when I was enquiring like middle of last year he replied pretty quickly. Though I hear that there is like a 5 month waiting time atm for GON's as he is super busy so maybe that's why he's not on GH so much atm??

Does anyone have an example of non-glare vs full-glare anodized ORANGE?

I'm looking to get a 60% plate from GON, but I'm not aware of the pros and cons of each... swaying towards the non-glare so my LEDs light up evenly.

I'd really like a GON 60% keyboard in an aluminum case (with no LEDs).

What all do I need to buy from GONs if I just want to put this in a compatible PokerX case (I really like the TEX cases)? Do I need a plate? I know I need the PCB, do I need diodes?

That's dark grey w purplish blue?? I thought it was black w blue LEDs . Do you have any more pics of the board, perhaps in a more neutral/everyday light? I'm thinking of ordering parts for my own Gon board soon and trying to decide on colors.
