They definitely are wonderful caps. I'm glad you saw that translucent doesn't necessarily have to be on backlit boards. They look just as amazing, if not more amazing (imo) on non-backlit keyboards because they glow naturally and evenly from surrounding light, as you can see from my photos :D

The other issue is, they glow better on lighter color keyboards like white. They wouldn't glow as much on a black keyboard. I'll be sure to throw these on the Realforce sometimes and takes pics on that baby too.

Yeah, Bro said something about that a while back. It's a matter of the little bump. iirc, he was getting the mold redone for the stem to account for it. That may have changed since I read that though. It was a while ago.

the color is due to the flash mostly. Conservative Red isn't super dark red, either.
