I think that it's somewhere in between matte and glossy I would say. It's not like the glossy MX and Topre v2's but not as matte as the matte if that makes sense lol. I can get some comparison pictures. It's just perfect as far as texture I would say and the slightly reworked proportions of the BS caps are awesome imo.

Agreed. It's my new favorite artisan cap. The detail on this is PHENOMENAL and the Gold face on black brings the detail to a whole new level.

Yeah I was 90% sure they were going to be this color. I think the fact that they were "surprise" caps scared a lot of people off that would have otherwise chosen them as their first choices.

It's definitely that level of uncertainty.

Just enough to make people curious, not enough to put people off.
