Well I got my Topre Matte Blackout v2 today, and It seems to have a pink/purple residual coloring in the eyes.
(Midnight Run v2.01?)
Terrible photos courtesy of my phone (hard to get a detailed shot without a macro lens).

That is actually pretty awesome! Having affected only the eyes makes it look really neat in my opinion. Personally, I would totally hang on to it, I'm willing to bet that "defect" will end up making that cap more desirable. I know for me it does!

Glad it's working well for you!  Learning how to manipulate artificial light vs natural will be a slight learning curve if you're new to it, but it's very useful (obviously :P ).  Also, just realized your IBM is a black label.   >:D  How fitting.   :cool:
