So I was wondering, what is the least expensive
Gateron-Switch based board for sale currently?
I found one for $55 on a Chinese website (shipped world wide).
Do you think there is anything cheaper?
- I'm actually looking for a built keyboard with the best linear switches (mid-heavy but also light can do) for the price, preferably under $80.

you are making 200 posts about what is cheaper and what not. just get a good keyboard with a aluminium case 200 dollars and you are done. if you buy cheap ones you will keep repeating adding cheap boards.

Well, if you haven't noticed - the one (and only one) other post Iv'e posted here recently, mentioning anything to do with budgets was about a CLICKY switch keyboard, which I already ordered!
This is a second post about a(nother) linear board. If you have nothing useful, relevant or even true ("200 posts... blah blah") to say, it is recommended that you keep your opinion to yourself.
It is quite absurd that you didn't even mention switches, as if getting a chunk of aluminum has anything to do with my post, or typing experience in general for that matter. Very irrelevant indeed.

There is no shortage of sub $40 keyboards with red switches and free shipping on Amazon.

There are $20 mechanical keyboards on amazon.
buy one of those, just swap out all the switches..
This is assuming your time and labor is worthless..
In the end, if that's not the case, hahaha, then just buying a gateron board is the better option..

My 60% keyboard with gateron switches cost me about $20 without keycaps.
Which comes with a form of DIY kits.
I got it from TaoBao.
I would say this is a better choice than most of the pre-built $20 keyboards.
If you really want a built one with Gaterons, I recommend Plum84 , which is currently around $20-$25 on Taobao.
