Interest Checks / Re: [IC] Spyder TKL

The board is very nice, and I think I would buy it when the group buy comes. That being said, OP do you have experience running any group buys like this? New vendor and unlimited unit count scare me a little.

They ran the Ahgase TKL with a 100 unit cap, and that GB was fulfilled as far as I know. There was also a GB for a 60% called the Ji-Eun that ended 7 months ago, but I haven't been following that project to know the current status of it.

Some of the artisans is really overrated, especially the OG ones.

fair enough, a lot of the things with artisans come down to preference (actually that is most things in this hobby)

Could I lobby for 1u shift, enter, and tab in the extension kit for better 40 support?
I don't think there is more room for 40s in the Extension Kit since it's going to increase the price for everyone, including those who don't care about 40s but just want the other keys. In that case, I would have to make a separate 40s kit with an even greater support and we all know that is never going to reach MOQ lol

I mean, isn't that what an interest check is for? I don't think 2-3 more keys will break the bank and will give far better 40 support. An extra 40 kit would probably not get much attention, but there's a non-zero number of people interested.
I will make a new IC Form specifically regarding the kitting in the next few days that will include a question about 40s support.

inb4; it get's exactly one +1 vote -- me. Thank you either way!

Hey all,

For the third consecutive full length switch review in a row, I'm excited to bring you new and unique designs within the traditional MX-style switch footprint. Unlike the Tecsee Honey Peaches and Gateron Melodics before this one, though, the Ball Bearing Blue switches are an incredibly interesting design that you absolutely won't want to miss the deep dive on...

As always, thank you all for the continued love, support, and patience in getting these full length reviews out. It's crazy to think that we've had three switches in the last two months that are so different in their execution that they absolutely had to be covered in a full length review as such to be truly appreciated. It makes me really wonder what's in store for us for the rest of 2024...

Cheers,
Goat
