J.I.D's new album is pretty great if any of you guys haven't listened to it yet!
I need to get on that. I really liked the never story.

Never heard of JID until this. The first 4 tracks really had my attention then I zoned out working for a track or two and hear method man come in!?! That made my day
Yeah I went ahead and listened and it's pretty solid.

If you liked it he works a lot with earthgang (both through features and spillage village) who I think are great.

I generally hate all keycaps. Keycaps are for poofs. Real men touchtype on stems. Non-functional artisans are awesome, I use them for the ESC key ... escape is for cowards anyways, real men go frontal assault.

One of my favourites off the album, I'm really loving most of the songs off it though.

man, what the hell happened to Logic? His new album is so sanctimonious and corny. He used to be one of the best technical rappers this makes me sad :(

he said fame wouldn't change him

Any Hopsin fans?

I don't hate Hopsin but I'm not really a fan of Tech N9ne and that's kind of the direction he started going in.

I'll always dig this track though:

Remember No Limit and the 504 Boyz? Man, I used to bump this **** with the windows down as my mom pulled up to drop me off at school in her Subaru Forester. I reckon about 2-3 years before I ever even seen a bag of weed   :))

Man, my living area was somewhat sketchy back then. Probably a year or so after I was offered a dime for my 'lunch money' (whatever that means) at the bus stop.

Just a few years before I found that Dead Prez demo tape (in a Wayard Council freebie bin lol) that changed my life.

"Pusha also updated listeners on the progress of his forthcoming album with Madlib.

“He’s funneling me all different types of chops, samples, and stuff,” he said. “We’re taking our time. I’m crafting and writing to some of them. That’s a bucket list thing for me. The fact that we’re in contact and everything is good, I see that happening. I can’t put a date on it, but I’m definitely on it.”"

Of course not everyone is going to put Blueprint as their favorite Hov  and  almost nobody is putting Life is Good as their Nas favorite. but that's just the albums I enjoy the most from front to back.  The ones that give me energy.
