lol interesting switch, since both tealios and c3 tangerines were expensive, this would be a budget choice!

They said they'll be finding vendors in different countries to try and reduce shipping costs. No updates as of yet.

As far as I know, no one here has tested them.  They should be very similar to tangerines, but we'll have to find out what the bottom is made from before we can assume exactly how similar.

New to this IC, just filled out the poll link, I hope that option 2 becomes the final production. I know this will look great in a 40 to 50% MKB, so I plan to maybe get 60 or more; after all, it’s always great to have extras!

Hm, I'm liking all these weird colored linears coming out.

I never expected linears to get so much love.

These'd be a 100% drop in necessity to my GMK Camping / Sage M60-A (Which currently has some boring BOX Blacks)

Gaterons are known for being wobbly, so probably wobbly enough.

For some reason, I got the impression that this switch is just a C3 tangerines just in a different color. I have no idea where I got that though.

Just to be clear, I am not saying that the C3 Tangerines are bad. I actually like the switch and I am using it currently at work.
I am also in if for this.  ;D

I think the opaque tops would go very well with the green housing since it does give some resemblance of the tea :p

Quick update:

The batch of 30k (10k for private GB, 20k for Geekhack GB) switches have arrived with chouyu. Chouyu is doing a private GB right now, she will follow up with me on International GB.

Most likely she will collect payment and ship on her own. But if there is a reasonable vendor who wants to help out please kindly reply and let me know. This is supposed to be a not-for-profit (or, tiny-profit to cover expenses) GB, so please bear that in mind if you want to help out ...

but does this one have any merit compared to tealios or tangeriens?

As far as I know, no one here has tested them.  They should be very similar to tangerines, but we'll have to find out what the bottom is made from before we can assume exactly how similar.

I am buying 180 from chouyu. If it is delivered before the GB starts, I can compare it with Tealios, Retooled blacks, and Tangerines.

I'm super excited to get my hands on them! Glad that option 1 was the winner, that was what I voted for. Would like to compare these to Creamy switches and V2 Creams.

As somebody who's tried both, I actually prefer the Creamy switches, both in colour (67g purple) and in feel, especially because these come with switch stickers, which help to reduce wobble.

I think Playkeyboards was the only one that was selling them with switch stickers, and you had to buy either 90 or 110. I'm almost entirely a 65% user, so the extra is kinda useless, sadly.

those look interesting. any guesses on how wobbly these would be?

Gaterons are known for being wobbly, so probably wobbly enough.

If you buy both Gateron and Cherry in 2018, you'll find that they basically wobble the same, Cherry maybe even a bit more.

Possibly? I mean that's just my opinion based on the switches that I own. You are welcome to disagree, but usually it helps to be constructive instead of just criticizing.

Hi, here is chouyu, the private GB is over, and Geekhack GB will be started in the near future. After I talked with oldcat, thouth we believe that it was the best way for me to send the package to everyone. Package 1 is tentatively set to 100, and package 2 is tentatively set to 200, until 20,000 switches are sold out. The price is $0.40 for a switch and 5% for the handling fee, and the shipping cost is still not certain.
