I'm sure the world would actually benefit from a few less people, so don't act like you're doing everyone a favour by popping out kids.

Tellier like it is!

The problem is here, we have parents, and we have non-parents. You both believe each other is the devil. It's never going to work. I understand that restricting a place to somewhere where you can't go is obviously a negative from the parents point of view, but having little tyrants running around (although not ever child is a tyrant) is clearly a negative for the non-parents there are here.

Please just agree to disagree?

Oh and Demik, we can just get a Pizza at home  :-*

(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

Please just agree to disagree?

You can't ask people to agree to disagree while offering an opinion that is different than theirs. That is only incentive to argue more. The only real way is to stop talking. This is why you don't find me in threads like these. Too many differing opinions and no purpose in arguing when I won't change yours and you won't change my own.

The problem is, I'm too awesome. We should all just eat takeout at home, problem solved.

so much drama, I see it like this
a business has the right to refuse service
if society disagrees with how they implement this, they go out of business
if society agrees with it, they stay in business and make money
no amount of internet armchair heroics will change the nature of business

Though, offering your own opinions and incites can help give others a more rounded view of the world. Forums are often dominated by people with the strongest opinions, so someone with a less extreme view can actually add a lot, even if it dsnt seem like it.

quoted for oh my god this is why i hate the internet, are you seriously trying  to be that big of a jackass?

Tongue was firmly in cheek for the record, although what I said was technically correct. Pulling the "oh excuse me for being such an inconvenience populating the Earth for you" argument just because your preteen children aren't allowed into a restaurant is lame as hell.

I'm wondering; what will happen if you don't follow this rule?

I mean let's say limit is 7:00, i get into the restaurant 6:50 with my kid, order food, and 10 minutes later they ask me to leave with the kid? Or will they let us eat properly?

Or what if i drive a schoolbus with 50 kids and drop the load into the restaurant at 7:20? Now if i run away, will the police arrest little kids? That'll sure piss of the manager (lol) cause the kids ain't going to listen to anyone.

Plus they are gonna break **** up and get away with it since they are ****ing 8 years old brats.

What if I use a giant cannon to fire children into the restaurant after 7PM!?

What if I lower children into the restaurant from a hot air balloon!?

What if a pregnant woman enters the restaurant after 7PM but then gives birth mid-meal!?

You better pack them tight, their bones haven't developed proper density yet  :-X

What if I lower children into the restaurant from a hot air balloon!?
Be sure to tie weights to their feet to ensure they drop 'straight down' see bone density (aka bird fever) info above

It means she ordered the fish  :p
