What's Your Height?
« on: Tue, 19 January 2016, 00:11:05 »
It seems everyone is a giant around here, so I was curious.

I'm 5"6, But I'm only 16 (Rounding up) so maybe I won't be a hobbit for the rest of my days.

19 and about 6'. Went into high school about 4'11", graduated last year at 5'10" so I think you can expect to grow some more.
I need more keyboards to hold all of these keycaps.

I started my freshman year of high school at 5'1" 93lbs, now I'm at 6' but only 125 lbs. I'm 19 to add as well, in college bruh.

Agreed.  When you only judge people on their thoughts then you can have truly meaningful conversations.  Same hight as you  :thumb:

It seems everyone is a giant around here, so I was curious.

I'm 5"6, But I'm only 16 (Rounding up) so maybe I won't be a hobbit for the rest of my days.

If you're 16, then you've still got time to fill in.  I've gotten taller since I was 16.

Sidenote:  There's still those imperial measurements we use here and there in Canada.  I.e. we use Celsius and Kilometres but feet for measuring human height.  I feel like we should complete the transformation so I guess my height would be 185cm hahaha.

Pretty similar growth pattern, Steez. I was around 100lbs as a freshman, however I'm currently about 170 pounds. (been working out and whatnot :p)

Lucky you! I seem to burn more calories chewing the food than I intake from it lol. My "Freshman 15" turned into a "Freshman -15" my first semester.

Oddly enough, I didn't gain weight (or lose any either, for that matter) during my freshman year of college. Here's to hoping I get a little taller before I reach my peak. :D

I try to use metric for most things, but living in the States everyone looks at you strange if you say something in metric, so I mostly by instinct use the US customary unit system.  :p

186cm ~6'1"

Which is kinda disappointing 'cause I've always thought I was 188cm.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I don't know probably  10$ per week. I just said to my parents just let me use the credit card and don't give me pocket money anymore. I don't need a bus ride to home cause there is a driver that works for my father

Shorelink bus service, fruitylexia.

Just remembered me and a friend made up fake pamphlets one day saying that the bus service was being permanently cancelled due to cost issues and distributed them to peoples letterboxes. They ended up printing an add in the local paper assuring people that the bus service was not being cancelled. I still have the paper clipping, such a moron of a child  I was.
