Interested in
1xEsc
1xRGBY
1xANSI
and possibly double that.

I would also be interested in a short right shift.

Probably something like $6 for a bubble mailer without tracking number, and $15 for USPS Priority Mail in a small box with tracking number.

REDESC x 3
RGBY-BASE x 2
SHIFT-ANSI x 2
No, he’s not around. How that sound to ya? Jot it down.

Exact prices are not set in stone yet, but international shipping cost will be uniform across the world.  So Australia will be the same as what I said for the UK a couple of posts ago -- something like $6 for a bubble mailer and $15 for a box with tracking number.

Dont have any input to give on the Windows legend but BOH and YCH look really good as the blue and yellow respectively.

I always thought the original RGB was great but the blue was too light.

Am quoting my own order above as I may have to cancel it if the key height difference between Filco std keys and the SP keys being ordered here is the same as that referenced in the pic in the first post of the following thread:
http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?11998-104-US-ANSI-Double-shot-replacements-for-Filco-Order

I dont wanna cancel it but if it is true, I wont have a choice so if anyone can pls confirm for sure either way, I would be very grateful as I have another group buy that will also be negatively affected by this.

Thanks.

My SP shamrock keycap is noticeably shorter than the keycaps on my CMstorm or WASD

I put it on esc, and it's not as noticeable from the top.

Really sorry to do this but I will have to cancel the order above as the SP keycaps are shorter than the Filco ones and I wasnt aware of this before.

That's fine, but you are aware that every group buy on geekhack is this way right?  That's just how SP caps are.

In reality, the Filco key caps are the wrong ones. Cherry and SP are right height.
You can replace those cheapish lasered Filco caps by a wide variety of key caps from Round 4!
Buy key caps here: Round 5

I have a set of color samples on the way from SP.  I decided that I couldn't do this buy right without looking at the colors in person.

And just as a heads up, after the buy I will probably make them available for other group buy organizers to borrow.

Right after.  I'd like to confine all the ambiguity to this thread, so there's no doubt about what we're getting and what it will cost in the real order thread.  Sorry I didn't think to order samples earlier on, the order thread should have been up a while ago.  Better to do it late and right, though, I think.

That said, the SVG won't be complete by tomorrow.  cycloverid is starting work on it as he finishes up the shipping on his moogle kit buy.  I think the images of his finished moogle keys demonstrate the quality of his work well enough that we don't need to wait to start orders.

Oh nice.

My method was to use an Excel sheet to keep all of the records but then integrate a function which tallies the overall counts for each key, another to calculate the pricing for each key order for each person, and then a final one to calculate the price/shipping/paypal fees for everyone. The only thing it can't do on its own is change the price of keys as the quantities increase but that is pretty simple to do on my own.

Ok, I've looked over the samples and it really wasn't much of a contest.  We're going with BDH (aka BOH) for blue and YY and yellow.  So turns out we were headed in the right direction, but having the physical samples in front of me is reassuring.  I'll post a bunch more pics of the various options tonight, but I think it's pretty much a slam dunk for these colors.  These images were taken outside on a sunny day, and have been white balanced.

I have to double-check my numbers still, but if we can get into the 50 RGBY bracket, we'll be looking at a final cost of $20 or less for one red Escape and one RGBY kit.  This doesn't include shipping.
