Just to be clear: albeit the PCB is working, there are no MCUs available on the market to manufacture it. Hence the hold up. As of yesterday I agreed to redesign the PCB to a multi-MCU strategy.

And I don't understand why I would be "hard to get a hold of", I have answered krautkat immediately everytime he contacted me...

Yeah, we have asked the runner to give us the cases and plates without PCB (because one can be done in a week)
That was one year ago, he refused.

We have never seen the cases except for 1 proto.

There is currently no proof of their existance.

Hell the monoflex has more proof of not being a scam than this, and it says something.

Is lack of MCU still a case?
Apparently, it's not for Geon it seems.

Geon it seems was able to be able to get a hold of a batch of MCUs and bought them right away

EDIT: I relayed this to krautkat and recommended they secure a batch of these MCUs so we can get this forward

As if anyone needed any more confirmation, it looks like the Lynx Discord was taken down sometime in the last few days. Project has been dead for a very long time but it's 100% gone now; good luck on your next purchases.

Yeah, pretty quiet... but also a smaller-scale GB than some others. His communication was really lacking right off the rip... he was slow to respond or make updates very early on (before there were any real issues). There's also been no explanation, no apologies, nothing. He hadn't even posted on Discord since 12/31/01 and now... seemingly deleted his discord presence as well.

Just noticed the server is now gone. Guess that was the final nail in the coffin. What a shame, it was the ideal 50% layout.

Hey there, thanks for this info! The Monokei Neko is indeed very similar to this, didn't manage to find that one. Too bad it's not split space and HHKB style only.

I'm looking for a minimal real estate, but super functional keeb for general purpose, but also coding. That's why I think this one with the extra column hits the sweet spot (curlies {} and brackets [] included without gymnastics).

Definitely interested in your project, is there anything you need help with?

Edit: I see now that the Monokey board can be split space, but not full bottom row still... The corner CTRLs are too valuable to just write off for everyone. Quite pricey too.

It's laughable that Equinox XL hasn't delivered yet, but surely it can't be that much longer... Right? If and when it materializes that's another option that meets your criteria.

Cool board, didn't know about the Equinox XL! Though it's not the same layout (it's a whole 1U wider), it's still quite relevant to my interests. Doesn't look very promising that it'll go through, tbh...
