Greetings, enthusiasts.

Welcome to the interest check forum of our latest design, PBTfans™ Vior by Aiglatson Studio. The intention of this post is to gauge interest and ask for the community’s feedback to estimate demand.

• INSPIRATION

The theme of Pbtfans Vior is inspired by cosmic dust. The set comes in dark purple, semi-transparent outer layers with incorporated silver and gold sparkles that add more dimension to the caps.

I love the inverted alphas, but the glitter feels odd to me. At a distances, like when the images are not zoomed in, the caps just sort of look dusty or like there is some debris on them. But those alphas are super nice.

Maybe I'm just a sucker for "colors on white"

text or text+icon modifiers are completely fine, I personally prefer text+icon the most, but pbtfans' font/molds for text+icon are just bad. I just can't stand the uneven height of lowercase letters, worst offender is the Delete legend. they make the set look like some bad aifei clone priced at 90-100 bucks

Fair enough. I know the kerning on the shift keys gets to me, but I can deal with it since the quality of PBTfans has been surprisingly good in my experience.

Love the theme of this, though I kind of hope that the set ends up going deeper vs darker.

i.e.: A more saturated purple, tad closer to blue than red, coupled with a cooler white, instead of beige.

I think these changes would help separate it from Pyga a bit more too, IMO.

By any chance is this possible to add Light-themed Mods kit ? There is full-Red-ish base but if I buy also Light Alphas I only can use Mods at 1 board at the time, when I want to buy this set for 2 boards, so it would be nice to have either Light-Mods kit that covers the same as Base, or full Light-Base as alternative. That would be awesome!

Hey would you consider selling an alternative base kit which comes with the white alphas set instead of the purple alphas?
I think it would be nice for us who want only the mods + white alphas to save up some $$$

I've been looking for a non-WoB keyset that looks good on a cream board. This might just be it. A wonderful color.

The good news is that KBDFans has completed testing the new material for semi-transparent keycaps. They informed us that there might still be some very small marks around the legend from the manufacturing process, but fortunately there is no more cracking. That makes Pbtfans Vior almost ready for production, and we will start getting vendor orders in ASAP. Our best estimate is around 2–3 months until the quick preorder or in-stock drop. Stay tuned

Thats fantastic news! I fell in love with this set the moment I saw it, so seeing it potentially delivered in less than half a year is getting me HYPED!

I've confirmed with Kbdfans that the production will start mid June. The lead time is around 1-1.5 months, so we can realistically expect the set to be ready by mid July or early August 2023.

I don't think you get what those comparison renders mean
