I’m making progress on my Laser 2269 project: remove the SMK switches, install them in a Sick-68, assemble wire program, boom I’m in click clack heaven. But there’s one problem: I WANT these og key caps and I just can’t find anything to accommodate this BIG ass enter.
I can see why they fell out of favor since they’re off standard, but is there really NO support for the heavenly retro goodness of a big fat wide boy enter? It also affects the surrounding keys layout. At this rate the only bit of this keyboard I’ll have left is the switches... and unless I went for some spherical space cadets or something extra geek like that, these double shot retro font beauties are exactly what I want. Any advice?
