Hello Everyone!
« on: Fri, 14 September 2012, 15:31:33 »
Hey everyone! I came across this form through people on OCN and figured it would be good to make an account here as well.

My small keyboard collection includes:
CM Storm Quickfire Rapid w/ red switches
Rosewill RK9000 w/ blue switches
Ducky Shine w/ Brown switches + Red LED

I look forward to learning new things about keyboards from this forum!   :D

Nice jumpstart on the keyboard collection. Welcome to GH! I hope you learn a lot about keyboards on this forum and I also hope you don't have to sell your house and have to live in a van down by the river to afford you new keyboard hobby. :)

Welcome to Geekhack!

A nice collection to start with :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I've recently been using the CM Storm Quickfire Pro w/ reds the most. I do love the feel of blue switches though.
