We appreciate everyone's love for the alt alphas! But, unfortunately we won't run them this time because pricing was too high and demand was too low for them

If I hold up an unused GMK Carbon grey R1 key and an unused GMK Carbon grey r2 key, I can tell they’re different, and putting em next to each other, I can tell who’s who. Just got done swapping grey keys R1 for R2 to match Rolling Bones. Probably gonna sell nautilus r1 for R2 down the road just to get ahead of it.

List the pricing and run a poll? Not every kit can go as cheap as GMK violet on cream but the remnants design for GMK darling might be doable.

good idea, second poll..! or let me put it this way: i will gladly pay e.g. 25 EUR on top of their price for having them than wait another year for possible second run....

I agree, please bring back the yellow alphas! That's what attracted me to this set in the first place.

Removing yellow alphas does take a lot away of the originality of the set and split spacebars forces to use accent colors.

Are the alt yellow alphas a definite no-go? I would question the "low-demand" claim - have not heard much about this set in general until recent days (the post distribution of this thread is somewhat infrequent/clustered)... I imagine a more representative sample would skew that ratio upward a fair bit.

Higher price for an alt kit like that is to be expected, but since it's a relatively unique kit I think many would consider it worth the price.

For me the yellow alphas are the main appeal of getting this set, since currently no other GMK sets have this. We do have Penumbra and Plum, sure, but those are more muted-cheese yellow, as opposed to, well, honey-yellow - and neither of those have yellow mods (for that we have Serika).

With the alt alphas, I am in for Base + Novelties + Alt Alphas + Spacebars + Rama cap, but without the alt alphas, unfortunate pass for me.

This is fantastic news. Those on discord pass the news around there too. I got 4 from reddit to do the form already and wrote to those who said they were sad it had been cut.

That's what I was worried about. But would like to confirm with OP.

Those three bars added together equal 6.25u since they line up with the 6.25u spacebar under the alphas. So quick math will tell you that it isn't a 2u bar unfortunately.

Not feelin the brownish accent color. I'm building lowkeykeyboard's orthochu (pikachu ortho board). Hence the very specific keyset I'm looking for.
