hi geon, i can't wait!

i am worried resellers are going to take interest in the frog, and bots will become an issue when restocks happen. hopefully over time this won't be an issue, but the first few restocks might be frustrating for enthusiasts. will swagkeys do anything to prevent this from happening?

Taking into account you are offering ISO, having a EU Vendor would be a must, or have Swagkeys use a proxy country in EU.

Buying from Swagkeys and importing it to EU, for most countries means paying 2x the price.

But the board looks amazing.

Import fees which are payed not only on the board price but the board + shipping. You also get charged handling fee from the courier service, which can range from 20-70 euros depending on dhl or ups or whatever.

This can be avoided by either having a EU store which proxies the board.

Yes a EU Vendor will also have to pay Import fees but its much lower since they get not only a better % on the fee but they also get lower shipping because of having deals with couriers but also being a bigger volume in 1 shipment only.

Well, if there's a good way, share it to me.

i've seen a couple of creative things:

require people to answer an easy question to checkout like "what does WKL stand for?"
make the url something that isn't like swagkeys.com/frogtkl. Cannon Keys did something once where the URL bots would look for pointed to https://cannonkeys.com/products/kobe-dog-sticker-iron165-addon
fancy checkout processes like hype.cannonkeys.com or nike snkrs app that allow you to review and scan for bots (honestly, i don't know much about this stuff, and it might be overkill for frog tkl)

So with 22% fees which is the average for most EU countries with some extremes with 8% and others with much higher values.

Lets say shipping is 100/150 dollar which is normal during this time for a heavy shipment. For the F1 drop from apex to EU that was about it.

That would mean you are paying 300 for the board, 100/150 for shipping and 88/99 on import fees, + the handling fee which depends on the courier but its between 25-85 , and sometimes storage fees from customs which are like 15. In total you payed 300 for the board + 283 dollars on average in shipping+fees.

With a EU vendor, the board is a bit higher priced obviously, normally for a 300 dollar board, the board in EU is 300-310 euros, and you save on shipping and all of the imports and handling fees.
