Title: 100% Leopard now at the iMav household
Post by: iMav on Thu, 22 November 2007, 22:12:52
My wife's MacBook was the last hold out...and I am now installing Leopard on it.

Who else is up and running with Leopard around here?

I thought I would.  I did not.  Got a GREAT start to a set of hand tools on a rolling Craftsman toolbox and a nice watch. Tony Dungy's book, "Quiet Strength", and some clothes.

NOW...I am free to buy all the apple software I want, but the first investment I make is in Apple Care.  (1st year expires in February!)

We don't have AppleCare for any of the Mac's we currently own.  I purchased my MacBook Pro with an American Express card (which I paid off right away, of course).  This effectively doubles the manufacturer's warranty (giving me two years).  My home owner's insurance covers things like theft and damage (both of which are not covered by AppleCare).

And, as anyone who knows me at ALL will tell you...this MBP will be LONG GONE by year 3.  ;)
