Black Friday hasn't been good in years.
Part prices are only going to get worse (probably).
I honestly believe this is why Nvidia is rushing the first 50 series cards, get them imported before any tariffs are in place. Once the tariffs hit, instant (whatever percent the tariff is) profit on that first or second batch. Whatever I may think of Nvidia, they aren't stupid.
You may catch some deals on used stuff (people selling off old stuff after upgrades) between now and February, maybe even March or April, but if/when those tariffs kick in, the whole market is going to be dragged up with it an almost equal percentage, however it will lag a couple weeks behind on a lot of it as it usually does.
Oh, as for the Walmart PC,
Traditionally (I didn't look at these) they're usually pretty good deal parts-wise but assembly is often dodgy. Poor wiring, unplugged connectors, etc... If you know what you're doing, or willing they're a great deal, otherwise you may be stuck waiting on them to fix their screw ups. Some also have been known to have poor case cooling, but at the prices, a cheap case could fix that and still be a great deal.
