why is it that manual transmission is getting wiped out here in Malaysia. Need to get a new car and have no choice but to get an AT.

is manual that much better? being in the US pretty much every car here is auto

For me i guess. When i did the test drive, i really didnt feel the kick completely like my current ride does. Maybe because this is the first time im  driving an AT and need to get use to it first. But still, driving experience is still better for me when using a stick 

Atleast in US, its still available as an option. In here, only those expensive sports car offers it unless i go with local brand which i dont prefer

Driving a manual gives much more feedback about the power the wheels are receiving via the actual stick shift and the clutch lever. Not to mention, having a manual transmission almost forces the driver to be engaged with the experience. I find these qualities invaluable and will have a manual transmission for as long as they are made.

Used to love manual. Then I started having a 30+ min commute in stop and go traffic, so I ditched the manual. Now years later I want to ditch the automatic for a self driving car...

Ketchup is an abomination, unless fried or roasted potatoes are involved.  BBQ sauce is for sauages.  Mayo for sandwiches and burgers.

The only thing manual transmissions are good for now is to tell the world how much "better" you are at driving down the same straight/flat/direct roads they're driving on.

Manual transmissions are great on the open road but painful in traffic.

I loathed mustard when I was younger, except for the occasional hot dog, but tolerate it somewhat better now. I still think that it is a shame to mask the taste of high-quality sandwich meats with low-grade condiments like mustard and ketchup.

Being from the South, I refuse to engage in arguments regarding barbeque with Texans, but I will say that I love all good barbeque but find bad barbeque to be nasty and disgusting.

I wouldn't on my daily. Traffic sucks. Constant shifting is annoying. But since my fiesta is also just my weekend car I don't mind the manual transmission.

Nah, good Polish pierogies don't need sour cream.

I don't eat meat, but tried it with a veggie dog.  It's as nasty as it sounds.  They also toast the buns which leaves them dry.

If I do a veggie dog, a little Beaver Hot Mustard and maybe some relish or a good pickle is all it needs.
