Made salted caramel
« on: Mon, 26 July 2021, 22:25:21 »
It's sooooo easy,

Can't stop eating it...

Anyone use those silicone candy molds? do they work? just have it poured in one flat piece right now on foil..

How to pour into candy mold? The holes are so small and there's alot of caramel.

sorry for being so late, have not really browsed the forum in a while and only was reading my followed threads,
if the molds are made for candy they should hold, if they are not they do not try, i had cheap baking silicon molds bubble under the heat of melted (hard) caramel, although soft caramel may be ok as its temperature is lower. to be honest thin metal baking sheets is what i use when i make caramel, just need to twist them a bit and most of the caramel breaks off (well in case of hard caramel), i think baking paper maybe could also work, never tried.
