Is this a brass plate?
This is already looking great!  :thumb:

Thanks  ;D
Nope that's stainless steel with hardline finish, i just can found that material here  :))

Just ordered a black cherry low profile case and matching wrist rest to go with this.  Unsure on Nantucket Selectric or GMK Plum for my keyset still.

That and zealios or Mod switches will finish out my build.

That's Great! since Nantucket and Plum is my favorite colorway too also i love that zealios and Mod M

quick question from a first time builder, are there anything special with this 60% layout? Can I just buy any 60% case and it will fit?

Looking forward to playing with weird bottom-rows. Also, this will soak up a couple of the bent-plate cases I got from Alex that I otherwise have no idea what to do with.

Just to make sure I've got everything straight, the plate pic above is the SS option, but it has a different finish than the one we will receive...

It looks like a brushed or matte finish on your "custom" place, but the SS one we will be receiving will be a "mirror" which I take to mean "polished" finish.

I have a question for everyone in on this GB, including myself

Is there a reason you chose this PCB over the banana split?
https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=84891.0;topicseen

Still in IC phase but it seems to have a lot of attention (much more than the YAS), and I'm wondering why that is. I haven't been following the banana split IC, but it seems the difference between the 2 PCBs are flexibility in layout, arrow cluster orientation, and the 0.75u spaces. Is there something I'm missing, or is YAS the superior PCB?

Also, just checking if my invoice is correct.
I got 1 PCB $55, 1 brass plate $40, but the invoice is $99.18.
What is the additional charge of $4.18?
and What is the estimated shipping charge to NY, United States?

0.75 space on the left side makes typing for me alot more pleasent and i like brass plates
also there is 1 key either missing or misplaced on banana split for iso layout in the 4th row if i want to use a normal arrow cluster.

Also, just checking if my invoice is correct.

First i will tell you if before i run this IC i'm wondering if iss62 run GB again but after he finsih with GB he is gone and then i found Banana Split IC but there's no arrow cluster option, i already told to him to put arrow cluster on that so gadzkun and i decide to make pcb it self with leeku. In the middle YAS62 IC i see banana split put arrow cluster so i think yess finally arrow and that and i start thinnking to stop my project and join banana split, but i look again on banana split layout i will be missing "/?" if i use arrow like XD60 meh i wont remap "/?" to somewhere else even i can use that r.shift "/?" and fn be r.shift but imo it will not look good if someone see your board dont have "/?" keys. So i decided to run again this project with basic layout from iss62 and i put more spacebar option in this board because i think why u put just 3 or 5 layout if u can add more option as it possible to make so here we are now  :))

and 2 for your invoice additional charge is paypal fee (i'm already write that on invoice) and for shipping i think you said me you will take this order on korea when it finish on june  :)

That's very interesting. So the YAS was originally an improvement to the banana split before it had arrow keys. And now, it's been further improved to allow many more layout options. The missing "/?" key is also an important part of the layout. I think it was a good idea that you continued designing the YAS  :thumb:

You have good memory, or maybe just normal memory. I forgot that I changed the shipping to korea.  :))

Actually it's improvement from iss62 same blocker on the side but they have custom acrylic cases on sale before.
Because just you want to take it at korea so i remember it  :p

Is the layout  1.5 / 1.5  / SPB 6 / 1.5 / 1 / 1 / 1 possible ?
If the answer is yes, Do i better take the 6U plate, the 3U plate or simply go with the universal one?

from what i see on this spacebar 6.25u and 6u u can use 6.25u hole for that layout, but i cant make sure 100% before try it on PCB it self

Damn sorry for ****ty picture  :))

What's good about brass plate?

Thinking of getting one more plate, SS or brass for linear switches.
Wishlist: 1) nice thick Alps caps; 2) Cherry profile POM;
More
Wishful-list: 1) We order from keyboard-layout-editor.com; 2) usable Trackpoint module for all keyboards
IBM M13 black
NeXT non-ADB keyboard (AAE)

From what i know both brass and SS are best for linear and brass is denser than SS but not as hard as SS. If someone know more than this correct me if i'm wrong.

An option is to design 0.75u tailor-made blockers to go with a 60% case that will fit nicely with them.

Does the PCB allow for LED backlighting of individual switches or just underglow?  If it's individual switches is it all of them or only certain ones?

And if it does I assume sip sockets will work?

I like high profile case. :)
The design sounds similar to many of the creation of Duck0113. Do you work for him?  :p But I heard some bad reviews about PCBs of his keyboards, for sure Leeku is among the best. ;)

Please also think about the possibility to remove the 1 line diffuser layer in the middle.
There are already so many things to consider including forms and fit, and finish, etc. Just look at the 'simple' FJELL design, LeadreN told perhaps over a year working on it before having now the revision 4 prototype.
Looking forward to your design!  :thumb:

Me too, I couldn't get a place in the raffle of FJELL.
I like the idea of diffuser layer / filler for underglow.
Perhaps you can think about adding a CNC high profile frost/sandblasted acrylic version of your design? Design like that ran only once here and they look amazing with underglow and LEDs.

I'm still thinking whether I should join this round or next round.

Do you roughly have an idea which bottom option might be remove in v2?

I started thinking to make v2 with less bottom option but PCB will be mx/alps support

and yes Keyset groupbuy never stop from last end year 2016  :))

I'm still thinking whether I should join this round or next round.

--------------FORM ORDER CLOSED----------------
Got 73 Order this is SICK!!! Thanks for all support

------------------------------------------------------

From voting form PCB color will be black, but i will ask leeku if we can go with new color PCB like Pink/Cyan but if it's not possible Black will be final option. And Plate will be switch top removal support!
