Will the polished chamfer be available for every color? And is there any extra cost for that option?

It will only be available on black and there will be extra cost.

Decent work! May I know, if brass plate is an option, will there be the same color options (e.g., black, red, dark green, blue, etc) as steel plates?

If you wanted a backspace in the top right instead of two 1u keys you'd have to go for the non-hotswap pcb right?

if you want the traditional 2u backspace then yes, you'll have to get the standard pcb

Love the design choices and would love be part of the gb! Is there a discord or are all updates on this thread? Thanks

EDIT: OK so stupid question, where is the backspace on the hotswap PCB?

You should be able to configure it how you please. It is a split backspace I believe so you can choose if you want it where it used to be or one row below on the 1.5u key.

Really interested in the white colorway. If you ever do future rounds would you consider adding a purple color?

I think he meant that it is configurable in the sense that you can program the backspace into any position you like.
But the switch layout for the hotswap PCB is indeed fixed.

The hotswap layout is tsangan (7u space), so the answer is yes.

But for a hotswap pcb, how do you split the backspace into \ and `?

Yep, if you don't mind split backspace.

Will the USB-C cutout be made in the shape of a USB C port? Think Nathan (Taeha Types) mentioned that he was bothered that it was a square cut in the prototype.

I'm actually more concerned that there was a need to use masking tape to reduce rattle of the plate! Would that be addressed?

Unfortunately we can't change the design anymore at this point. However, the cutout is very snugged and you can't really see the cutout once a cable is plugged in.

Yes, we have fixed the design so that won't happen on production units.

Hey everyone! Latest update on the first post, GB coming up soon!
Hey would it be possible to show a video of the final prototype just so we can take a look at what the product we would be receiving would look like? For example with the fixed plate issues and such?
Thanks
