I asked the screen printer and they said it should be fine for washing.  I also asked Independent and they said that part of what they designed this line for is to be screen printed on.  I would recommend washing the hoodie inside out.  Other than that, I will be washing mine this weekend and will update this thread after that.  I don't plan on machine drying mine though - I prefer to hang dry jackets and sweatshirts.  Growing up with a Mom that washed everything in hot water and nuked the crap out of everything in the dryer resulted in most of my clothes being destroyed and shrunk in short order and now I am overly paranoid.

I wash mine inside out, cold, low heat for dry. I've had that Black Dahlia Murder hoodie, screen printed on an Independent hoodie, for years without any issues.

If you're truly paranoid, you can handwash it but I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Just a quick update:

This week has been very hectic with much burning of the candle at both ends.  As a result, I was unable to get the international orders that have paid shipped yet.  I will have them in the mail on Monday for sure.  I am sorry about the delay, but will hopefully get the rest of the international shipments invoiced by the end of the weekend and in the mail shortly after they are paid (will have to wait for Paypal transfer to my bank since I can't pay for large packages with Paypal for international).

Also got mine today (here in Convict Town), the Mrs opened up the package thinking it's something she bought from the US but found my humongous black hoodie.

It's so big that the Mrs and her sister can comfortably stand inside it, zippered up to their necks.  For me it's really big but the worst thing now is that she is asking what's "Geekhack" on the front hoodie label ........
