God dammit, Geekhack needs more christmas sweaters.
We either need a great GH sweater exchange, or a GB.
I have never received one of these amazing sweaters before.

Yay.. new shirts came in.. Christmas sale, only $18.75 each after coupon code..

Looks good..  I have no waist, so it's hard to find cloths that don't look like a dress on me..

T shirts are a no go, because they're stretched out by my wider shoulders as I put them on.. so even if they fit well in the beginning, I can only wear them about 5 times before they don't fit well anymore..

Shoulder circumference is 48" now, I've been working out..

So from this picture you should see the waist problem.. Yes, I know, mirror, clean, I'm on it

That's a pretty good fit, I'm impressed. A little tighter than I personally like, but I'm a fairly husky dude. Nice get.

Also, now that I know you've got a camera, I'm gonna demand egdx pics.

Damn, that is a pretty spot on fit.  Wide shoulders and thin waists never works out when you're trying to find clothes. :(  It sucks.

These are the XS  "fitted"  1mx shirts series from express, I know, I know, poor people cloths..  that's why I bought 9 different colors of them @ $18.75..

This should last me forever...

My waist is 25.3" under the ridge 26" across it..   the shoulder width size on the XS should accommodate up to 50"

Meh, poor people clothes, rich people clothes...

As long as you nail the fit and you wear it confidently, almost anything can look good on someone.  Fit and confidence go a long way in fashion, in my opinion.

Confidence is the key to everything.

I give zero ****s if colours go together. I just end up wearing t shirts with sweat shirts, and tracksuit bottoms half the time.

Maybe...

To be fair, I didn't get mine at full price.  My friend from high school actually wound up working for the company so I got a pretty deep discount on mine.

Actually that's for anything you buy in life. Retail price doesn't mean that's the price you will end up paying.

I do end up overwearing stuff though. Up until about 6 months ago, I've only had one coat for the last 3 years, and I used to wear it all the time.

Now I've got a new jacket I wear everywhere hah. But i can wear it for any occasion so yeah.

I have multiple jackets and sweaters I wear a lot now, but my main "winter coat" is from 8th grade...that's 10 years ago.      Needless to say, I'm going to be buying a new one soon...

My favorite coat is 25 years old, my dad gave it to me 4 years ago and I wear it almost every day in fall and winter. It's just so perfect when paired with the right layers.

It's a conspiracy that they make cheaper things uglier to create product differentiation..

It's the same in Clothing as it is in Cars..

Typically the difference between expensive mens shirts and cheaper ones is 2 little seams in the back to tighten the waist..

waist tightening can also be achieved during the cut of the material..

That's the wholeeee shtick..

Oh, and in cars..  expensive cars are always slightly lower to the ground and have Bigger wheels..

Take any car, lower it slightly, give it bigger wheels, it'll look like a much more expensive car..

Those arn't lower to the ground because they're suvs but the bigger wheels thing still apply, they look good because of the big wheels.

I have three skiing jackets which I wear with a t-shirt when it's around +5 or with a t-shirt and  a hoodie when it's around -30.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

I wear a canvas/cotton parka with a hoodie under it. Gets the job done. I've also got a few lighter jackets.

You're oversimplifying it way too much.  There's far more to expensive clothes and cars than what you mentioned.

You're oversimplifying it way too much.  There's far more to expensive clothes and cars than what you mentioned.

Hrrm??

I believe you misinterpreted my position..

The UGLY cheap cloths that don't fit ANYONE is the Anomaly..    There's no reason for their existence..

The only reason they're produced is to artificially create a sub-class of products to compare the mid and high to.. THerefore, someone unaware of the game could feel better about them selves spending more money.

The fact that cloths can be made to look better using better material and different cuts (ALL) at a higher price point, is directly the result of the Higher price point.  There's no devious plot here..

I'm talking about the conspiracy behind why the cheap Ugly exists when it costs nothing at all to make them virtually indistinguishable from expensive cloths.

Hoodie fits like this

I think I'm the only guy that doesn't like Levis.  I actually can't stand 'em for some reason.

Looks like I misunderstood your first post.

I love Carhartt jackets. And what bothers you about Levis Sent?

I think I'm getting a Carhartt jacket for Christmas. I saw a package from them on the table when I came home the other day. That shirt is neat, btw.

I think sent's issue with Levi's is that they've had ****ty QC for the past few months. I personally don't wear Levi's (My main pair of raws had a blowout, so I've been relegated to my rag & bone pair)

I can never wear leather, according to my parents and family, I have that "hooligan" face..  and so the leather jacket just completes that narrative..

Always wanted a Carhartt jacket.  They look pretty solid.  How long have you had yours?

QC has been spotty like Tact mentioned and they just aren't comfortable to me.  No matter which fit I try on...just not a fan.  There's something about the way they're constructed that just doesn't sit well with me, I guess.

Yeah, I have a baby face so I don't look like a criminal or anything when I rock leather. :))
