What?

I've just found that my order number has been changed from #80 to #81???!!!

Why??????????????

Pretty sure you just looked at it wrong, never saw you at #80

That's weird because I'm pretty sure I got in at #79 and now it's showing me at #80.
I need more keyboards to hold all of these keycaps.

7bit stocks some(get the PCB set + a spacebar). There is also a potential GB for transparent stabs in Q3 this year by zeal

Yo man, ask Elton. I'm sure he should be able to slot you in since you were originally #80. It'd be a little unfair if you missed out because some odd technicality.

I ordered some from: http://winkeyless.kr/

Their shipping is pricey,  but if you email them they have other options.  They are also good at responding.

Transparent stabs would be awesome!  I'll keep my eye out for that.  Just ordered a batch of 65g plate mount zealios for this last night.

I do believe the PCB will be mounted to the top bezel like the Orion v2, so that would make mounting switches to the bare PCB without a plate impossible.

Not so sure because if it's like the Orion you need a plate

Not so sure what? All of Duck's PCBs support PCB mounted switches, most PCBs in general do nowadays. A plate is just to add rigidity, you can use a plate and PCB mounted switches.

What he meant was that while you can use PCB mount switches, you cannot use the board without the plate as the PCB is attached to the plate only, like the Orion and most Kustoms.

Oh ok then that is correct, the plate is necessary because that is what is screwed into the top half. PCB mounted switches still work though but the plate has to be used.

The bump down is from one person going from one board to two boards.  That shouldn't be allowed. My first order was prior to their second order, their second order should be at the bottom unless multiple boards does not affect the order number. Then the order numbers should be adjusted accordingly.

We don't know all the details but I agree that if they just messaged elton now then their second order should be at the end. Elton could've missed a pm or messed something up.

If you're talking about in-switch LEDs then you'll be able to program the brightness and how they turn on whether it's constant, flashing, flash on keypress, etc.

Ah yes, you're right, I was referring to in switch LEDs. How would I go about doing that? Is there a windows app or something?

In O2D keymapper that Duck has for his boards, you'll be able to assign keys to allow you to change said options.

He may come out with another thread for the new Octagon but here is the last one. http://duck0113.tistory.com/115

Yeah , that's will make this Octagon v2 not rare haha, too much Octagon V2 on geekhack. Also there will be some from the Korean groupbuy

Who gives a **** whether it's rare or not. There's still going to be ~80 boards on geekhack, that's plenty rare compared to any other retail board and other customs such as winkeyless and gon. I personally think it's kind of pretty damn selfish if you want less people to enjoy a board as good as this.
