The Colors

Alpha Base: RAL 075 90 20
Alpha Legend: RAL 050 50 60

Mod Base: RAL 350 20 15
Mod Legends: RAL 050 60 60

Note that the alpha legends and the mod legends are two different shades of orange, the reasons for this were twofold, one it adds a bit more diversity in the oranges in the set, and it also helps with the contrast.

I set up a profile for my camera in lightroom using an xrite color checker, but I'm far from an expert. These are in no way guaranteed to be 100% color accurate, but should be used to give an added idea of what the color should be in addition to the renders

Renders

I did these renders with a variety of lighting, to hopefully give a rough idea of how these colors will fluctuate based on your particular desk setup.

Did a fresh render last night to help show how good I think this set can look on poly or e-white, hope you like it.

Additionally, I'm happy to announce that both Hello Caps and Death Caps have committed to making matching artisans!

We won't be seeing them for a while as I want the match to be as good as possible, so they'll be producing the caps after we get samples, but they've both signed on to make these caps.

Colors are perfect for a 70s leather trench coat. Orange and slightly purple were quite popular if I remember correctly. Will buy most kits.

Today's render features some Panc40 keyboards to show that we've got some physical support for ortho layouts if that's up your alley! The GB for those lil guys is also currently live over at Panc.co!

Now in terms of announcements, numbers are looking good (just sent them over to dvorcol), but we've decided to extend the GB a couple weeks.

While we're not worried about MOQs, we want to make sure everyone who wants this set has the opportunity to pick it up, and we thought going a little past Christmas would be the best way to allow that.

As such, the GB will be extended to January 4!

I'm super happy with them and have given them my approval.

GMK is working on ordering the plastic for production and we'll have a more concrete timeline shortly.

Hmmm, very disconcerting. If there were any issues, personal or not, I think most of us would be patient and understanding, but radio silence agitates.

That being said, I'm actually hopeful about this since for those in the thai tea group we were sent pictures of the boxes and they do seem like it touched down...unless they were of another vendor? Fingers crossed.

Edit: ah, I see that there were pictures of said kits in that thread too. Also the excuses and false promises didn't help. Hmmmm

Earlier today, I asked pwade on discord for:
1. Whether or not he’d been paid his designer cut by panc
2. Contact info for Alex Jackson of Panc for purposes of civil suit

And asked another designer whether another vendor could assist us on contacting GMK for the purposes of determining where the GMK TT shipment is.

~When I hear back I’ll strike through this line and make an update.~ For those who wish to seek refunds through their banks or credit cards, I’ll try to get some screengrabs together in an Imgur album.

Sorry for the lack of replies here folks, seems geekhack decided to not inform me there were posts.

So yeah, Panc has received the sets, I know this for certain as he did send my personal set. And yes I was paid my cut a long time ago at the conclusion of the GB.

Address change confirmations were supposedly sent out, though it seems some sort of error occurred (or it never happened depending on how generous you are), as clearly no one has received them.

As mentioned, I am trying to figure out how I can best assist to get these shipped out. Panc is a not insignificant drive from me, so this will take a little time to coordinate, not to mention wanting to get the okay from Panc himself to ensure I don't arrive to no one being there, etc.

If you want to call my discord updates "excuses" that's fair enough, I'm simply trying to relay what little info I do receive.

I called it excuses before, it’s true. If you go out there to pack up orders, that’s above and beyond. Would’ve been easier for you to let us pursue this by legal means-which to me should still happen in conjunction, but without the ability to deliver a notice by an impartial party we’re stuck.

I don’t think we can do anything more than wait. What I see in the discord channel is that a few people have their sets from Panc. Some people have shipping labels created but it’s been almost two weeks and no package. Several people in discord, including myself, still haven’t received any notifications at all. I think we just have to keep waiting. He seems to be sending them out slowly.
