This would be a great combination with an AEK and the original Apple Mouse / Optical Mouse hack.

bhtooefr:
Only problem is, the AEK will look too new next to that thing...

Put a USB keyboard controller on an Apple //e's keyboard (which uses a key matrix, and even has Open Apple (Command) and Closed Apple (Option) keys,) though. Then it'll look right.

Even if the computer is actually in the floppy drive, not the computer itself. :p

All that leaves is adapting the Mini's output to composite, but that's not a problem. Hook it up to an Apple Color Composite Monitor for maximum win. :)

cmr:
I only use my AEK2 in Windows Vista. How's that for blasphemy?

bhtooefr:
Dude, the computer gods are waiting for a great time to smite you. :p

I saw that retro hack a little while ago.  I'm not into macs, but I like the idea.  I thought of doing something similar with a windows machine, but I have to find the right hardware to do it.
