Orange creamsicle would be slick! Although purple and green is a nice combo.

Although if memory serves me, the QWERkey purple is more magenta. Think a dark purple would be better.

would be better with black legends

too halloweeny! orange is a little ostentatious for my taste but really, this group buy is to get the molds ready so we can do more in the future... just don't see orange and white being popular enough for 100. it's possible though!

but halloween is awesome? girls can dress slutty and we all win!

Are these doubleshots? Most of their kits don't specify and the function key set even says engraved and infilled?

Afair they only do engraved and infilled.
I had a sig once but it's gone. It used to display an icon of a Kinesis. Just imagine that.

So why are they more expensive then a set from SP?  Are the keys themselves a better quality? In pictures of their half life key they seem a lot thicker than most doubleshots.  Are they all like that?

honestly no point in doing just a modifier set it would definitely feel weird using DS with engraved infilled, I say go big or go home either a 86/87 keys or nothing at all

I do like the idea of a complete GH classic colorscheme charcoal, orange and white set.
I have talked with sleabo a few times about various potential buys, and unless I am mistaken the 100 MOQ on modifiers needed the same base color, but could split up the infill colors to whatever since it is a secondary process. If that's the case I think it would be easier to settle on something neutral like dark grey and people can do white, orange, pink or whatever they may prefer for thier legend infill.
I was actually thinking of trying a buy with them soon for a few various small sets like CMYK mods (C M and Y on black keys, and set with reveresed caps lock and control positions on beige. But the high prices due to them being UK based and high MOQ for the keys I have been pretty hesitant.

I tried out playing with charcoal legends on the orange keys, but they look less than desirable.

I was not talking about for Halloween set. For a Halloween set surely we would need a Michael Myers key! Anyway, similar to the setup leesofi has shown with the orange legend Cherry 2shots, perfect GH set in my opinion.

Nope, not me because I won't buy SP keycaps, save for maybe R1 if its a really awesome novelty key (it's happened once). I would rather have infill than a horrible profile I can't stand to touch. Besides Arial rounded is so close to Cherry on all but a few charachters it's good enough. I am certain I have suggested this colorway before at some point. People usually don't like what I suggest enough to make it happen so it probably dosen't even matter really.

well i sure don't but now it seems like everybody else does now that the colors are associated with the 'D' word :)) it's really not that bad I'm just not a big fan of orange, especially combined with grey/black.

This would be ideal, just pick base color and worry about the infill color later.

I think a full set of charcoal/orange would look great, with the mods charcoal and orange print, everything else orange with charcoal print.

However to make things easier, I think a straight white on orange mod set would be one of the easier things to do, as white keys and spacebars are already easily accessible, with the forward slash and tilde keys orange as well.

I would definitely be in for this set,  the orange and white set or a purple and white set for ~$120 or less

they can do modifiers now?

I hope they can get into making the Modifiers, because that will give you the full 86-key set.  Although I've only ever seen the B-Series model on display I would really love if they will actually make it.

I would give anything for a FULL 86-key White on GREEN key-set.  To go with the MKC case.

YES, kicking myself for picking bright Green when only a neutral coloured key-set will go with that colour scheme....... so ashamed of my ......stupidity.

Swap this round. Orange text on charcoal modifiers.
Want a set including a 1.75 right shift and 1.25 bottom row keys for pure.  Would look great with the orange backlighting.

I'm not sure that QWERkeys can do 1.75 in that row profile, could be wrong though!

I assumed to set up moulds for the keys also, hence the idea of getting a gb for a set of modifiers. Everyone gets a full set and qwerkeys have moulds from which to sell to order.  Have I misunderstood?

I would have thought that they already have access to the molds, it costs SP $45 for a legend mold and thousands for each key mold so I wouldn't think the MOQ includes new molds for every modifier.

The MOQ is just about making enough to bother to setup the machine and make a run of keys. Devlin already had the molds for probably at least 20 years or something.
